Itinerary
- Day 1
Maasai Village
Your hotel pickup happens in the morning, and you'll be driven out to a Maasai Village for the day. Once there, you'll be greeted with traditional songs and dances from the community. Walking through the village gives you a real sense of how daily life works here, and you'll visit inside a local home to see living spaces firsthand. Traditional tea comes next, which is a nice way to sit and talk with people. The warriors put on a performance with their traditional jumping, which is quite something to see in person. Throughout the day you'll learn about their crops and how they prepare food, plus get insight into local businesses. There's time set aside to browse and buy handcrafted items if you want souvenirs. Before heading back, climbing the small mountains nearby gives great vantage points for photos and views across the area.
