Itinerary
- Day 1
Bhubaneswar
You'll arrive in Bhubaneswar where a representative meets you for your hotel transfer. The afternoon focuses on the temple circuit, so plan to see Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani, and Lingaraj temples, each with their own architectural character. By evening, you'll head to the Dhauli light and sound show, which walks through the region's ancient history. The whole day gives you a real sense of why they call this the 'City of Temples'.

- Day 2
Bhubaneswar to Bhitarakanika
After breakfast, you'll drive to Bhitarakanika and check into a jungle cottage or tent. The second-largest mangrove forest surrounds the area, and the afternoon brings a full-day boat safari where you'll spot various bird species and see estuarine crocodiles basking in the water. You'll also visit Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary and stop by the Crocodile Museum at Dangamal. It's a solid introduction to the wildlife here.

Bhitarakanika
Start before sunrise with another boat safari through the mangrove habitat, when the birds are most active. Later you'll climb the watchtower at Bagagahan Bird Sanctuary for views across the landscape. The higher vantage point really helps you understand how the ecosystem all fits together, from the water below to the forest stretching out in every direction.

Bhitarakanika to Puri
The day begins with a morning boat safari, then you'll drive toward Puri. By late afternoon, you'll reach your Puri hotel, which sits in a quiet setting away from the busier parts of town.

Puri
A full day of exploration starts with the Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that's genuinely striking for its architecture and carved details. From there, you'll move through Pipli village to check out the vibrant applique work the area is known for. Later, Raghurajpur shows you traditional Pattachitra painting in action. The day wraps up at the Jagannath Temple, one of the four major pilgrimage sites in India.
