Itinerary
- Day 1
Ahmedabad
You'll land in Ahmedabad and get settled at your hotel, then start exploring the old city. Bhadra Fort gives you a look at the city's historic fortifications, and the Jama Mosque shows off the architectural style from centuries back. The Shaking Minarets are right there if you want to see why they got that name. After lunch, head to Sabarmati Ashram to learn about Gandhi's time there, then check out Hatheesing Jain Temple for some really intricate stonework. If you have energy left, the Kite Museum and Vishala Vichar Museum cover Gujarat's cultural side pretty well.

- Day 2
Ahmedabad
This is a full-day trip to see some of the region's best architectural work. Adalaj Stepwell from the 15th century is worth the time since the details carved into the stone are something you don't see every day. From there, head to Rani ki Vav, which UNESCO recognizes for good reason, particularly the carvings showing Hindu mythology throughout. Later in the afternoon, you'll reach Modhera Sun Temple dedicated to Surya, and the structure itself is quite something to walk around and photograph.

- Day 3
Ahmedabad to Vadodara to Kevadia
Travel to Vadodara and start at Lakshmi Vilas Palace, where the architecture and grounds take a while to properly explore. After that, head to Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park where you can see how Hindu and Islamic styles blend together across the site (it's a UNESCO location). Stop by Sardar Sarovar Dam in the afternoon, then head back toward the Statue of Unity for the laser show at night. Dinner with live music is available at Tent City or one of the nearby hotels if you want to keep the evening going.

- Day 4
Kevadia to Mumbai
Spend time at the Statue of Unity, the world's tallest statue, and go through the exhibition hall to understand Sardar Patel's role in building modern India. Head up into the statue's core for views across the area. The Valley of Flowers and Selfie Point are nearby if you want to add those to your morning. By early afternoon, drive back to Vadodara and head to the airport for your flight to Mumbai.
