Itinerary
- Day 1
Bike Collection to Zagora
You'll pick up your KTM bike and gear from the shop, then ride 75km on tarmac to where the dirt tracks begin. After stopping for coffee, you'll head onto a flowing hilly track that gets progressively rougher and more challenging as it climbs toward a steep, rocky mountain pass. There's a picnic lunch set up on the trail, and then you'll work through canyon-like terrain before dropping down into the Draa Valley with a dramatic descent. The final stretch takes you through ancient mud-walled villages or you can follow the support vehicle on road to reach your hotel in Zagora.

Chegaga Dunes to Foum Zguid
This is a long, tiring day starting early heading south on old Rally tracks where you'll practice high-speed bike control. You'll stop briefly to refuel before heading west on fast, flowing tracks toward the sand dunes of Chegaga. Lunch happens at the dunes, then you'll continue west on initially rocky terrain that becomes smoother as you cross the dry lake bed of Lac Iriki. From there, you'll pick up an old Dakar Rally piste leading into Foum Zguid town where you'll spend the night at a hotel set in a palmery with good food.

Anti-Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate
You'll cross the Anti-Atlas mountains using a short tarmac liaison to reach an incredible gorge where local Berber villagers grow dates. The route passes through a final village offering shade before you climb dramatic tracks that cling to the mountainside. After a short descent and quick ride across agricultural plains, you'll arrive at Tazenakht for lunch. There's an optional stop at a Berber carpet cooperative to watch women making colorful textiles. You'll then continue to Kasbah Ait-Ben-Haddou near Ouarzazate, the famous fortified clay city used in Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia. The day ends at Oasis Fint for traditional Moroccan mint tea, a guided exploration of the oasis, and an evening return to your Ouarzazate hotel.
