- Hans-Dirk· October 16th, 2023A great experience cycling in this area. In particular, the Durmitor nationalpark, the Tara canyon and the descent to Kotor are absolute highlights. Despite booking a single room, you cannot always expect a single room die to hotel capacity. This was announced in good time by the tour guide.Show moreTrip date: October 2023
- CBChristopher· July 15th, 2023Stunning scenery, great cycling (highlights were the descents to Pluzine and Kotor), good food, chance to go swimming in some lovely lakes, some organisational problems which may have been due to the big group size (21) but did detract from the experience in some areas: the route differed on occasion from the one advertised in the itinerary; we had to move hotels on the rest day in Kotor which was a bit disruptive, and this wasn't communicated until quite late; on many days we were split across multiple different accommodations (including in some cases what seemed like Airbnbs) due to lack of hotel options. A lot of the hotel options were actually pretty good (the best one being in Peje), but the two nights in guesthouses were more basic and people were sharing bathrooms or even a room with someone else despite paying for the single supplement; that would maybe have been acceptable had it been flagged in the itinerary, or at least people could book or not based on having that information beforehand. All of this makes it sound like a poor experience but it really wasn't, I had a great time and can definitely recommend cycling in this part of the worldShow moreTrip date: June 2023
- TMTanya· July 11th, 2023Overall it was a good experience. the trour was excellent, however the organisers made some inappropriate decisions. they tried to book those of us who had paid single supplements into sharing rooms. BAD! they also moved us from one hotel to another when it was an off day which totally interrupted our experience. When they moved us in Kotor, they moved the single people to a hotel 5.5 km away from the town which meant we were stuck there! BAD. the tour guide was also poor at communicating and told us things that were not accurate at all. Communication was also last minute and did not give us time to adjust our expectations. I did not trust what we had paid for and what we got The route also changed according to the outlined provided at the start, so there were also disappointments with the distance and climbing cycled. POOR.Show moreTrip date: June 2023
