Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Delhi

    You'll touch down at Delhi airport where someone from the tour company meets you with traditional flower garlands. From there, your representative drives you to the hotel for check-in. Settle in and rest for the night.

  2. Day 2

    Delhi to Agra

    After breakfast, you'll spend the morning and early afternoon walking through Old and New Delhi. The itinerary includes Raj Ghat (where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated), the spiritual Bangla Sahib temple, India Gate, Parliament House, and the President's Residence. Later in the afternoon, you'll drive to Agra, which is home to the Taj Mahal.

  3. Day 3

    Agra

    Start before sunrise to see the Taj Mahal, and you'll get to ride in a traditional Tonga (horse cart) to reach the monument. After that, head back to your hotel for breakfast. From there, you'll explore Agra Fort with its distinctive red-sandstone walls and structures. In the late afternoon, you'll drive to Jaipur, known as the pink city.

    Following breakfast, you'll head to Amber Fort where an elephant ride is available (depending on what's offered that day). Next, you'll stop at Jal Mahal for photos and views, then walk through Hawa Mahal palace with its detailed carved facade. Later in the day, the drive back to Delhi happens, and you'll check into your hotel there.

    Delhi to Amritsar

    Early morning, you'll be picked up for the drive to Delhi railway station to board a chair car train heading to Amritsar. Once you arrive in Amritsar, you'll transfer to your hotel. In the evening, you head to Wagah Border to see the flag retreat ceremony at sunset, which marks the border between India and Pakistan.

  6. Day 6

    Amritsar to Delhi

    After breakfast, you'll visit the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), one of Sikhism's most important pilgrimage sites, with its marble walkways and the holy pond surrounding it. Then you'll go to Jallianwala Bagh, the historic location where a significant massacre took place in 1919. Later, you'll transfer to the airport for your connecting flights home.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
