Itinerary
- Day 1
Puerto Maldonado to Jungle Lodge
Your adventure kicks off with an airport pickup and a quick tour around Puerto Maldonado. From there, you'll hop on a motorboat at Puerto Capitanía for a 2-hour ride deeper into the jungle until you reach your lodge. Once you're settled, there's a traditional Amazonian lunch waiting, and then you head out on an excursion to Cocha Caiman, a small lagoon where black and white alligators hang out regularly. You'll catch the sunset from the water before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

- Day 2
Jungle Exploration and Wildlife
After breakfast, you're trekking through the jungle to observe the flood forest and take in the wildlife around you. The walk leads to Lake Apu Victor, which gives you some really nice views from the Amazon viewpoint. Back at the lodge for lunch, and then the afternoon brings a hike over to Monkey Island where you might catch sight of different monkey species and sloths. You'll watch the sunset and return to the lodge for dinner.

Jungle Walk and Wildlife Lagoon
Start with breakfast and then walk deep into the jungle to reach Cocha Perdida, where you'll see otters, alligators, turtles, and various other wildlife. After that, you stop by the Amazon Viewpoint to take in the surroundings, and later you're out canoeing around the lake. Lunch happens back at the lodge. Late afternoon gives you options: either visit the local Botanical Garden or take a refreshing bath in the river. Dinner's at the lodge again.

Return to Puerto Maldonado
