London to Bath
Head out at 7:30 AM on the scenic Great West Way toward Oxford. You'll see the famous dreaming spires and colleges there, then continue into the Cotswolds to walk through honey-colored stone villages like Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold. By evening you'll reach Bath to check out its Roman and Georgian architecture, get an orientation tour, and have your welcome dinner featuring Sunday roast.

Bath to Cardiff
After a relaxed start, travel toward Cardiff and stop at the Brecon Beacons on the way. This mountain range features old red sandstone cliffs. You'll choose between a guided gentle hike with a ranger where you might spot otters, herons, kingfishers and red kites, or attend a naturalist lecture. Grab a hearty farm-to-table pub lunch with seasonal local ingredients, then head to Cardiff for the evening.

Cardiff to Bovey Castle
Start at Glastonbury Abbey to explore the historic 7th-century ruins, which are listed as Grade I buildings. From there you'll head to Exmoor National Park in Somerset, a protected area with moorland and diverse flora. Drive through scenic countryside to Bideford, the historic port town used as a filming location for the 2018 movie 'Guernsey.' Arrive at Bovey Castle, your five-star accommodation set within 275 acres of Dartmoor National Park, and have dinner with fellow travelers.

Cornwall to Dorchester
Visit a manor house in the Devon countryside to learn about its history from the owner. Enjoy a quintessential Devonshire high tea with freshly baked scones and seasonal fruits from the kitchen garden. Travel to Summer Lodge Country House Hotel and Spa in Evershot, a Red Carnation hotel where you'll spend the next two nights. The setting inspired Thomas Hardy's fictional 'Evershed' in his novel 'Wessex,' and the hotel offers activities like croquet, falconry, horse riding and shooting.

Dorchester
After a relaxed morning, visit two of Britain's finest country houses. First is Mapperton House, owned by Lord and Lady Sandwich, descendants of the Earl who invented the sandwich. You'll learn the house's history and meet Lady Julie Montagu, known for both her yoga business and property ownership. The house was used as a filming location for 'Far from Madding Crowd.' In the afternoon explore Montacute House, an Elizabethan National Trust property with Britain's longest gallery displaying works from the National Portrait Gallery. Finish with a celebration dinner with fellow travelers.

Dorchester to London
Leave Dorchester for Stonehenge in Wiltshire, a prehistoric monument with standing stones thought to be built between 3000 BC and 2000 BC. Walk around this site, which has been legally protected since 1882 and stands as one of Britain's most iconic locations. Continue to Selborne to visit the Selbourne Pottery workshop established in 1985. Meet the ceramicist and watch a demonstration of how these acclaimed pieces are made. From there head back to London and your hotel.
