Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari kicks off with a hotel pickup at 8am, then you'll drive across the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Manyara for a full day of game viewing. The landscape here is thick with acacia forests, and you'll likely spot giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and blue monkeys throughout the day. The lake itself makes for great photo backdrops as you move around the park. You'll head back to camp in the afternoon and have dinner there.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast early on, you're heading to Serengeti National Park. The drive takes a while, but it's quite scenic once you arrive. The park's name actually means 'endless plains' in the local language, and you'll see why it fits. This 6,900 square mile area holds millions of wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras, plus major predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards that call it home.

- Day 3
Serengeti National Park
You've got a full day in the Serengeti to work with your guide on what you want to do. Options include a morning game drive followed by lunch and time at camp, or staying out for a full day drive with a picnic lunch. Your guide will talk through the best times to go out and what wake-up times make sense based on what animals you're hoping to see.

- Day 4
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Start very early for a morning game drive while animals are most active, then return for brunch at camp. After that, you'll travel to Ngorongoro Crater. It's a massive place with 2,000-foot walls covering 102 square miles, and it contains nearly every wildlife species you'll find in East Africa, including rare black rhinos. The elephants here have some of the largest tusks around, flamingos gather at the soda lake, and you'll find a river, swamps, forest, and open plains all within the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You'll start before sunrise and descend into the crater floor for a morning game drive. After that, there's a picnic lunch waiting for you near the hippo lake. You'll have time for a short afternoon game drive before heading back up and out of the crater toward Arusha, arriving around 5pm (though this can shift depending on your flight time or other plans).
