  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Luang Prabang

    Staff will meet you and take you to your hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00, though you can request early check-in if you need it. Spend the afternoon and evening getting settled, then wander around this well-preserved traditional city at your own pace.

  2. Day 2

    Luang Prabang

    Your guide takes you through Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, where you'll see the famous tree of life mosaic. Next, the National Museum (housed in the former Royal Palace) shows artifacts from Lao culture. After exploring the shopping areas on your own, head to Khouangsi Waterfalls where you can swim in turquoise pools or walk the forest trails. In the afternoon, cruise upstream on the Mekong River, then climb Mount Phousi to visit the sacred stupa and catch sunset views over the city and river. Later, check out the Night Market for handmade textiles.

  3. Day 3

    Luang Prabang

    Get up early to join the morning alms-giving ritual with saffron-clad monks, a tradition you'll only find in Laos. Walk through the local morning market, then head back to the hotel for breakfast. From there, visit Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Mai temples. Later, cruise upstream on the Mekong River and stop at Pak Ou Caves to see thousands of Buddha images in two large caverns. After that, visit Ban Xanghai village (where they produce local rice wine) and Ban Xang Khong (where artisans make traditional Saa paper).

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
