Itinerary
- Day 1
Kochi
You'll land at Kochi airport where someone from the hotel meets you for the transfer. Once you're settled in, there's a half-day guided tour covering Fort Kochi, the Dutch Palace, and the Indo Portuguese Museum before heading along Marine Drive. By evening, you'll catch a kathakali dance performance, which is the classical dance form of Kerala with its distinctive makeup and movements.

Kochi to Kumarakom
After breakfast you'll head out to Kumarakom, often called the 'Town of Backwaters'. The morning takes you to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where you can see various migratory birds depending on the season. Later in the afternoon, you'll have time to either walk around the backwaters or opt for an Ayurvedic massage if you want to relax. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please.

Kumarakom to Alleppey
You'll drive from Kumarakom to Alleppey and board your houseboat for a scenic journey through the backwaters and lagoons. Lunch and dinner both happen on board, so you're taken care of food-wise. When evening arrives, you can walk around the streets of Alleppey and get a feel for the local area.

Alleppey to Kovalam
The drive to Kovalam includes stops at Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Horse Palace, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, and Padmatheertha Kulam Temple Pond in Trivandrum along the way. Once you reach Kovalam, you'll check in for a 4-night stay, which gives you a solid amount of time in this beach town.

Kovalam
A full day of exploring the Kovalam area takes you to Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Halcyon Castle, Analothbhave Mathe Church, and the Fishing Harbour. You'll also wander through Vizhinjam Village, check out Samudra Beach and the Rock Cut Cave, then head to Chowara Temple and finish at Poovar Beach to catch the sunset.

Kovalam to Kanyakumari
This is an excursion day where you'll drive to Kanyakumari, stopping at Padmanabhapuram Palace on the way. At Kanyakumari itself, you'll visit the Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, the Kanyakumari Mandir (one of the major Shakti Peetha temples), Tri Samudra Milan where three waters meet, Gandhi Mandapam, and Thanumalayan Temple. You'll return to Kovalam by evening.

Another full day tour covers the Kovalam region with stops at Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, Halcyon Castle, Analothbhave Mathe Church, the Fishing Harbour, and Vizhinjam Village. You'll see Samudra Beach, the Rock Cut Cave, visit Chowara, and make your way to Poovar Beach. After that, your time is free to relax at your hotel or explore independently.

Kovalam Departure
After having breakfast at the hotel, you'll check out and drive to Trivandrum airport for your flight back home. The journey ends here, so make sure you have everything packed and are ready for departure.
