Varanasi
Start early with a boat ride on the River Ganges, then return to your hotel for breakfast. Professional dealing with Amit from Holidays At. Average guide in Delhi, who shortened our requested half day tour by passing by some sights “due to traffic”, getting us to pay entries which were meant to be included. Excellent guide and excellent hotel in Varanasi.

I was a bit disappointed with the organization of the tour from before I left to the actual tour in Varanasi. There was a lack of communication that made it a bit scary for me. I travel alone as a female, and when I choose to book tours, it's because I want to feel safe. Once in Delhi, I met with a representative that made me feel better about my safety and the tour, but once I arrived in Varanasi, they had me waiting at the hotel for a few hours. We ended up having to rush to the aarti. By the time we arrived, the good seats had been taken, and I had to stand up the whole time in order to see. When visiting sights, it felt very rushed, mostly due to the fact that they changed the itinerary the previous day leaving me at the hotel for hours, so more had to be squeezed into the second day of the tour. The guide was very nice but needed to pay more attention to make sure I wasn't lost in the large crowds or busy streets. There were a few times where I got cut off from him, and he had no idea. I think they also need to get a guide that speaks English better. It was a struggle to communicate at times. I was also upset to find that they had not scheduled a visit to the most important temple in Varanasi. That should really be on the itinerary. The hotels they booked me in were really nice. I felt very comfortable, and they had restaurants on site. I think this could be a great tour if some adjustments are made.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 110 days prior to the departure date of your tour.
