- Day 1
Luang Prabang
You'll get picked up at Luang Prabang airport and head to your hotel for check-in. If you want to get settled in earlier, that can usually be arranged. Spend the rest of the day wandering around this UNESCO World Heritage city on your own terms. The ancient streets and local culture give you a good sense of what the city is all about without any structured plans.

- Day 2
Luang Prabang
After breakfast, start at the Royal Palace Museum, which dates back to the French colonial period. From there, you'll cruise upstream on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves where thousands of Buddha statues fill the caverns. Stop by Ban Xanghai village to see how locals produce rice wine. Once you're back in town, visit Wat Sene temple and then Wat Xiengthong temple. Walk through Heuan Chan mansion and have some Lao coffee or tea. Later, catch the sunset from Wat Prabath, and wrap up your evening at the Night Market looking for local handicrafts.

- Day 3
Luang Prabang
Start early to take part in the morning alms giving ceremony with Buddhist monks, a tradition that goes back centuries. Afterward, check out the temporary morning market and grab breakfast. You'll then climb 329 steps up Phousi Hill to get panoramic views of the city. Head to Kuang Si waterfall with its three-tiered drops and clear turquoise pools where you can swim. If you're interested, there's the option to visit Ban Thapene village and the Bear Rescue Center. Before heading back, stop at Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center. End your day with a sunset cruise on the Mekong River.

- Day 4
Luang Prabang to Departure
Your guide picks you up at 8:30 am and takes you to Elephant Village Camp for an orientation. You'll feed elephants and tour the elephant hospital and museum. Learn how locals make paper from elephant dung and get hands-on training as a Mahout to understand how to communicate with the animals. Take a traditional Lao long boat out to Tad Sae Waterfall for swimming. A buffet lunch with coffee and tea is served at the camp. After that, you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
