Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in St. Moritz

    You'll arrive in St. Moritz either by driving straight there or heading to Innsbruck first and taking the bus from there. Once you get to your hotel, check in and settle in. This is your chance to get comfortable before the cycling starts tomorrow, so use the time to unpack and get oriented with the area.

  2. Day 2

    St. Moritz

    On your bike now, you'll head out from St. Moritz to explore the surrounding landscape. This lake-bike tour takes you toward the Inn source, and you'll ride through the Alpine scenery with great views of the pristine waters. The route follows the shoreline and gives you a good sense of the region's character.

  3. Day 3

    St. Moritz to Zernez

    Today you cycle through Upper Engadin valley, passing through several charming villages along the way. You'll stop at Samedan to see the Old Tower, then continue to La Punt with its Early Gothic church, and Zuoz where San Luzi church stands. The ride finishes in Zernez, which sits at the gateway to the national park.

  4. Day 4

    Zernez to Scuol

    From Zernez, you head toward Scuol by cycling through Lavin, an old mountain village with character, and Guarda, which has spectacular views of the valley. Once you reach Scuol, you can check out the Bogn Engiadina water park or visit Tarasp Castle, the landmark that defines this part of Engadin.

    Scuol to Ried/Prutz

    You'll cycle from Scuol toward Austria, heading through Martina and then into Pfunds and Tösens. The route eventually gets you to Ried/Prutz, where you follow the Inn River. Along the way, you pass through the Finstermünster Schlucht gorge with notable town centers in Stuben and Pfunds in Tyrol.

    Ried/Prutz to Imst

    Cycling through Oberes Gericht, you move from Ried down to Landeck, where a castle with a museum and historic ruins sit above the town. After Landeck, you pass Zams monastery and ride through the protected Mils Au floodplain on your way to Imst, known for its fountains. The Rosengartenschlucht gorge is along this route and worth a look.

    Today's route follows the Inn valley through small villages on your way to Innsbruck. You'll stop at the Cistercian monastery of Stams, then continue along the Martinswand mountain face. In Innsbruck, the old town has the Golden Roof, City Tower, Imperial Palace, and Hofgarten Park all within reach.

    Everything was so well organised we could just relax and ride the bikes. We hired bikes and they were in great condition and gave us no problems- I would definitely recommend this holiday. The accomodation was excellent too.
