Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Nemea - Arcadia - Ancient Olympia

    Your day starts at the Corinth Canal where you'll grab coffee and take some photos of this engineering landmark. From there, head down to the Nemea wine region to check out the Stadium and archaeological site, along with the museum. You'll stop at a local winery for tastings before heading to Laggadia for a traditional lunch. After eating, drive through the scenic valleys on your way to Ancient Olympia. Once you arrive, spend time walking through the archaeological site including the Temple of Zeus and the ancient stadium, then visit the museum. Finish up with dinner at a local tavern where you'll be staying overnight.

  2. Day 2

    Tegea - Mantineia Vineyards - Nafplio

    Head to Tripolis in the Peloponnese and explore the Mantineia wine region, starting with a visit to the district of Tegea. You'll tour vineyards at 800m altitude on the slopes of Mount Parnon, tasting white varieties like Moschofilero and Chardonnay along with reds including Agiorgitiko, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grab a traditional lunch in the village of Ano Doliana. Later, travel to Nafplio, one of Greece's most beautiful cities, where you'll check out Palamidi fortress and Bourtzi castle. Walk through the old city and wander the narrow alleys of the historic center. Have dinner at a local tavern and settle in for your overnight stay.

  3. Day 3

    Argolis - Ancient Epidavros - Athens

    Begin early at Ancient Mycenae, one of Greece's most important archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Monument. Explore the Gate of the Lions, Royal Palace, Treasury of Atreus, and Tomb of Klytemnestra. Pass through Argos, Europe's oldest city, then stop at a local winery in the Argolic plain for tastings. Continue to Ancient Epidavros to see the famous ancient theatre, another UNESCO World Heritage site known for its exceptional acoustics. Have lunch at a local tavern, then relax at the beach of Loutra Oreas Elenis. End your day with a final lunch near the Acropolis before heading to Athens.
