    Marrakech

You'll arrive in Marrakech and head to your traditional riad to settle in. From there, a guided tour takes you through the Medina's winding streets, where you'll get a real sense of the city's rhythm. Jemaa el-Fnaa square is where things get lively, filled with performers and food stalls. The Koutoubia Mosque gives you a feel for the city's religious heart, and Majorelle Garden offers a quieter contrast with its blue buildings and botanical collections. Later in the evening, you can arrange a hammam and spa treatment if you want to relax after the day's walking.

You'll then reach Ait Benhaddou, an ancient earthen kasbah and UNESCO World Heritage Site that's incredibly photogenic from multiple angles. After exploring there, you continue to Ouarzazate and can check out Atlas Studios and Kasbah Taourirt if time allows. The afternoon takes you through Dades Gorge, where the landscape really shifts dramatically, and by evening you'll be settled at a local kasbah or guesthouse for the night.

Once you arrive, a camel trek across Erg Chebbi's dunes kicks off in the late afternoon, timing it so you're out there for the sunset. I did a 7 days trip with Ibrahim and Mohamed. We spent nights in comfortable Guest Houses along the road and at CAF refuge 1 night before Toubkal climb. Mohamed is an excellent cook (vegetarian diet OK). Ibrahim knows the Valley very well! Itinerary will be adjusted depending on the weather and trails'conditions. The walking pace and distances were adapted. I stayed at Hassan Amazing Family House 1 night. Every thing was very well organized. It is a fantastic experience to discover local life, away from crowded areas

I had a fantastic experience on this hiking trip. My guide, Ibrahim, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and always so friendly and helpful. The food was so good. Freshly prepared by Mohammed, loads of fresh fruit and vegetables and lots of traditional Moroccan dishes. I would highly recommend this tour.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommended! I just returned from an unforgettable 7-day hiking adventure in the mountains with Amazigh Voyage, and I can’t recommend them enough! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized — beautiful trails, breathtaking scenery, and a genuine connection to local Berber culture. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we felt safe and comfortable. The route took us through charming villages, high passes, and hidden valleys that most tourists never see. Each day brought new landscapes and incredible views. The food was delicious and fresh, with plenty of traditional dishes to enjoy after a long day of walking. The team’s hospitality made it feel like traveling with friends rather than a tour group. If you want an authentic, well-planned, and deeply rewarding mountain hiking experience, Amazigh Voyage is the perfect choice. I’m already dreaming of my next trip with them!
