Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kochi
You'll arrive in Kochi by flight and get transferred to your hotel. After you settle in, the rest of the day is open for whatever you feel like doing. Kochi itself is worth exploring even on this first day if you're not too tired from traveling. The city has this interesting mix of cultures with Portuguese colonial buildings standing next to ancient synagogues, Chinese fishing nets along the shore, and British-era structures all scattered around the tropical Malabar Coast.

- Day 2
Kochi Sightseeing
Following breakfast, you'll head out on a local sightseeing tour through Kochi. The route takes you to Saint Francis Church, a 16th-century structure, then to the Old Paradesi Synagogue from 1567, which happens to be the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth. After that you'll see Mattancherry Palace with its Kerala murals and spend time at the Chinese fishing nets before heading back to your hotel in the evening.

Kochi to Munnar
After breakfast you'll check out and travel to Munnar, South India's largest tea-growing region. The drive passes through rolling hills covered in tea plantations. You'll arrive by afternoon, get checked in, and later that evening there's a Kalaripayattu show scheduled, which is an ancient martial art form that originated right here in Kerala.

- Day 4
Munnar
This morning after breakfast, you'll visit the Munnar Tea Museum to learn how tea plantations developed in Kerala's Western Ghats. Next, a spice plantation visit shows you different spices grown in various sections. The afternoon includes a Jeep ride through Mankulam and Anakulam villages with high-altitude tea gardens, waterfalls, and tribal areas where you might spot wild elephants.

Munnar to Periyar
You'll check out after breakfast and head towards Periyar in Thekkady, which has one of India's finest wildlife reserves. The forests here are surrounded by plantations and offer good opportunities for trekking and walking. You're scheduled to arrive by afternoon, check into your hotel, and have the evening free to rest.

- Day 6
Periyar
An early start at 6:00 AM gets you out for a half-day jungle walk in Periyar National Park combined with bamboo rafting on Periyar Lake, taking about 6 hours total. You'll have chances to spot elephant herds while hiking through the tiger and elephant reserves. Back at the hotel by noon, you'll have a relaxed afternoon. Then in the evening, catch a Kathakali show, a classical dance form popular across India.

Periyar to Kollam
After breakfast you'll check out and travel towards Kollam, which sits at the southern entrance to Kerala's backwaters. The area is surrounded by the calm waters of Ashtamudi Lake with coconut palms and cashew plantations framing the landscape. You'll arrive by late afternoon and check in, getting a feel for backwater living without dealing with crowds.

Kollam
Following breakfast, you'll go out for sightseeing to Jatayu Earth's Centre, a rock-themed park opened in 2017 with a 6D theatre, digital audio-visual displays, cable car, and an ayurvedic cave resort on site. You'll return to your resort by afternoon and take a one-hour boat ride from the jetty through mangroves and backwaters. The evening is yours to do as you please.

Kollam to Alleppey
After breakfast you'll check out and travel to Alleppey, known as the 'Venice of the East' and famous worldwide for its backwaters. You'll arrive by noon and get checked into a private houseboat. Lunch happens on the houseboat, and then you'll take a boat cruise through Vembanad lake for the backwater experience.

Departure from Alleppey
