Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport to Sigiriya
When you land at Bandaranaike International Airport, someone will be waiting to pick you up. From there it's a transfer to Sigiriya, where you'll spend your first night settling in.
- Day 2
Anuradhapura
After breakfast you're heading up Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built on a massive 200-metre rock column with preserved remains of ancient urban planning from centuries past. Later you'll drive to Anuradhapura to see this ancient capital's Buddhist heritage and well-preserved ruins before driving back to Sigiriya for the night.

Polonnaruwa - Minneriya National Park
Following breakfast, you'll head to Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka's second most ancient kingdom with some of the country's best planned archaeological sites to explore. Then a jeep safari takes you into Minneriya National Park where large groups of Sri Lankan elephants gather during the dry season. After that you'll return to Sigiriya for the night.

Dambulla - Matale - Kandy
You'll be driven to Kandy in the morning, stopping at Dambulla Cave Temple with over 80 caves holding 153 Buddha statues and paintings (UNESCO-listed). After that comes a visit to a spice garden to see how spices grow and get processed. Then you'll see Sri Muthumariamman Temple with its 55-metre tower before arriving in Kandy for the night.

Three Temples Loop - Royal Botanical Gardens
The next morning covers three temples: Gadaladeniya with Buddha images on a rock-top location, the bright white Lankatilaka Temple with its paintings, and Embekke Devale known for richly carved wooden pillars. Later you'll spend time in the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, featuring over 4,000 plant species across 147 acres. You'll head back to Kandy for the night.

Kandy City Tour
After breakfast you'll explore Kandy itself, the last capital of ancient Sri Lanka. You'll visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism's most important sites, then check out the Ceylon Tea Museum with its historical exhibits and machinery. Walking around Kandy Lake comes next, followed by shopping, visiting the view point, and a Kandyan cultural dance performance in the evening before returning to your hotel.

Kandy to Adam's Peak
After breakfast you're heading to Adam's Peak, a 2,243-metre sacred mountain revered by multiple faiths. You'll start climbing at night to reach the summit as dawn breaks, and the views up there are something special, especially the shadow of the peak itself during early morning hours.

Adam's Peak to Nuwara Eliya
You'll make your way back down Adam's Peak and then transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Once you've rested at your hotel, an evening city tour shows you this place known as the City of Lights, located at 1,868 metres with its famous temperate climate and tea production.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella
In the morning you're taking one of the country's most scenic train rides from Nuwara Eliya down to Ella. The route goes through mountain tunnels, tea plantations, eucalyptus forests, and past villages with incredible views across the southern hill country, often with low-lying clouds adding to the scenery. You'll check into your hotel in Ella for the night.

Ella to Tissamaharama
You'll travel to Tissamaharama, located near Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's second largest protected area. This is where you'll spend the night at your hotel.

Mirissa to Galle to Bandaranaike International Airport
You'll visit Galle's old town and stop at a moon moonstone factory in Meethiyagoda to see how these stones are worked. After that you'll get dropped off at Bandaranaike International Airport or wherever else you'd prefer, marking the end of your tour.
