Itinerary
- Day 1
Windhoek
Your driver will meet you at Hosea Kutako International Airport, about 45 km from Windhoek, and take you to Town Lodge where you can rest after traveling. Later in the afternoon, there's a free township tour scheduled so you get to know the capital a bit before settling in for the evening.

Windhoek to Etosha
Head out early between 7am and 8am from your hotel toward Etosha National Park driving north. You'll stop for lunch in either Otjiwarongo or Outjo, then spend the afternoon on a game drive looking for elephants, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and the Big 4 (lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas). By sunset you'll arrive at Omusati Village Lodge and have dinner.

Landmarks/POIs Etosha National Park - Day 3
Etosha
Start your day early to catch nature when it's most active. After breakfast, you'll do a full day game drive heading to the Etosha pan and different waterholes searching for the Big 4 and other wildlife. A light lunch gives you time to rest midday, then you'll check out one more waterhole before heading back to the lodge at sunset for dinner and sharing stories about what you saw.

Etosha to Swakopmund
Your pickup happens between 7am and 8am for a long 540 km drive to Swakopmund on the coast. You'll travel through Outjo, Otjiwarongo, Omaruru, Karibib, and Usakos, crossing the Namibian Desert the whole way. A picnic lunch stops you in Omaruru, and you'll reach Swakopmund by mid-afternoon with time to walk around this seaside town. Your guide can suggest dinner spots (you'll pay separately).

Swakopmund
This morning takes you to Cape Cross north of Swakopmund where thousands of fur seals live and hang out. After seeing the seal colony, the rest of your day is yours to do whatever sounds good. You could visit the museum, check out the Namibian National Marine Aquarium, shop around town, relax on the beach, or browse the open-air curio market. If you want something more active, there's optional quad-bike desert trips, boat tours with oysters and champagne, fishing, sand boarding, or even skydiving.

Landmarks/POIs Cape Cross - Day 6
Swakopmund to Sossusvlei
You're heading inland today from the coast into the desert, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn along the way. The drive takes you through the scenic Gaub and Kuiseb passes, and you'll go down through Kuiseb Canyon before climbing back out to see the desert stretch out in front of you. After lunch in Solitaire, you'll reach your lodge around 3 or 4 pm. The best way to spend the afternoon is cooling off by the pool before an early night.

Landmarks/POIs Tropic of Capricorn Gaub Pass Kuiseb Canyon - Day 7
Sossusvlei
Get up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes. Your driver will take you to the middle of the dune field, and from there you'll walk about 5 km through the dunes to Sossusvlei. Watch how the sun hits the dune surfaces and look for ostriches in the area. If you're up for it, climbing Dune 45 (the most photographed dune in the world) is something you can do while you're there.

Solitaire to Windhoek
After breakfast, you'll head back toward Windhoek with a stop in Solitaire to pick up supplies. The drive back takes you through the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass. You should reach Windhoek before lunch and your driver will drop you off at whichever hotel or lodge you're staying at.
