Itinerary
- Day 1
Split to Trogir
You'll land at Split Airport and meet your local representative who handles car hire arrangements. From there, it's a short drive to Trogir, a medieval town with ancient Greek origins. Spend the day walking through its historic streets, checking out the beautiful palaces and cathedrals surrounded by ancient walls. The Cathedral of St Lawrence is worth your time, and climbing the bell tower gives you fantastic views across the town. You're staying overnight in Trogir.

Trogir to Dubrovnik via Split
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll drive to Split to explore this atmospheric coastal city. The old town centers around the impressive UNESCO-listed Roman Palace of Emperor Diocletian. Walk through the beautiful streets at your own pace, or book an optional guide if you prefer that. If wine interests you, there are options to sample authentic Croatian varietals with local food. Then you'll continue on to Dubrovnik and check into your hotel for the night.

Dubrovnik
Starting after hotel breakfast, you'll explore Dubrovnik's old town, one of the world's most beautiful medieval cities. Optional guided tours are available, including a 2-hour walking tour through cobbled streets with architectural and artistic details. Game of Thrones fans can take a separate tour visiting Fortress Lovrijenac and Kings Landing filming locations. A boat trip to Lokrum Island shows you its history and its role as Quarth in the series, so bring bread for the peacocks. You're staying in Dubrovnik.

After breakfast, you'll head early to Omis, a small town with a rich history tied to fishermen and pirates, now known for adventure tourism and a lively music scene. Spend time exploring the town's past and present. The River Cetina has excellent rafting opportunities if outdoor activities appeal to you. Later you'll drive to Podstrana and check in to your hotel for the night.

Podstrana to Split
