Asked on May 8th, 2025Is single accommodation available everywhere except for the temple?

Traveler•Written May 2025If I get single accommodation is it throughout the trip?
- The Dragon TripOperator•Written May 2025
Single room upgrade is available everywhere other than the Temple Stay in Gyeongju (1 night). Standard accommodation is a dorm room with 4-8 beds. Single Room Upgrade allows private room throughout tour, with an ensuite bathroom where possible.

Traveler•Written May 2025Is there another combo tour where it starts in Korea and ends in Japan? Is it any cheaper to do a combo instead of buying 2 separate tours? If I purchase 2 separate tours, will there be any discount?
- The Dragon TripOperator•Written May 2025
The only combo tour option starts in Korea. The cheapest option is the combo tour which includes the connecting flight from Osaka to Seoul. No discount is available for booking tours separately.

Asked on April 21st, 2025How does this trip work in terms of when we should arrive and where we should arrive in Korea if we are US citizens?
- The Dragon TripOperator•Written April 2025
The tour will start at the starting accommodation at the Step Inn Myeongdong at 2PM on the first day. Most international flights will fly into Seoul Incheon airport. We can help with arranging an airport transfer but will also provide directions on using the public transport to make your way to the accommodation.

Carla
Traveler•Written April 2025So food, accomodations, and travel are all included along with a visa and a sim card correct? How does that process work of aquiring these things once the payment is made? And how late can one confirm a trip for May 18th?
- C
Carla
Traveler•Written April 2025Also just to make sure... the first day is May 18th in Korean time not American time? As I believe we are 1 day off?
- The Dragon TripOperator•Written April 2025
The first day would be at the local time in Korea! The accommodation and travel are included. The tour also includes the following meals: 1 breakfast & 4 dinners. The other meals are not included. The visa and sim card are not included. USA citizens currently do not require a visa for Korea currently as the K-Eta has requirement is exempt until the end of 2025. We also do not provide a sim during the trip but recommend you arrange this or book an e-sim for the tour. We will need to check the availability for the tour on May 18th and send the request to our Korea team. The earlier you request the tour, the higher the chances we can facilitate your booking.

Asked on April 18th, 2025I'm a Ghanaian residing in Ghana at the moment. I'm interested in the South Korea Adventure tour trip. I want to pay for the 12 days but I don't have an invitation letter from your end to apply for a visa. How can you assist me to get an invitation letter from your end to apply for a visa?
- The Dragon TripOperator•Written April 2025
After you've paid your deposit to join the trip, we will then issue you with the requested documentation. Please check with your local South Korean embassy what documentation they require and let us know so we can gather the information.

Asked on April 8th, 2025I'm interested in the South Korea trip and I see the age requirements are 18-55. I'm 62. Would that be a problem? I'm very fit and used to staying in hostels as well as basic accommodations.
- The Dragon TripOperator•Written April 2025
Unfortunately, we cannot extend the age limit for this tour. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. We do have a great alternative available - Our Korea Premium tour. This tour will use 4 & 5-star hotels and often has travellers aged 55+. Would this option work for you?
- A
Anne
Traveler•Written April 2025No, that would not interest me. It's a completely different tour. I usually travel with G adventures and could easily find a tour like that with them. I'm not looking for "premium". Just because I'm over 50 doesn't mean I need to be pampered. In fact, I can handle "basic" travel better than most of the young people I've travelled with. Stray Asia was my go to before covid but they haven't started again. I can do it on my own but it's a lot of work and I was hoping to find a company to travel with that caters more to my style.

- The Dragon TripOperator•Written March 2025

Dan
Traveler•Written March 2025So how does this work? It will be cold in April, travelling internationally. My airline has a 20+kg allowance. Am I supposed to dump my clothing to fit your restrictions?
- The Dragon TripOperator•Written March 2025
You can purchase extra allowance for the check in luggage at the airport. It costs 2,000 KRW (1,5 USD) per extra kilo per flight.
