Merano
Start your time in Merano, a cultural town tucked in South Tyrol. You'll walk through the arcaded streets and follow the Passer esplanade, where Empress Sissi used to stroll. The town has a quiet charm to it, and the riverside path gives you a real sense of the local landscape and history.

- Day 2
Merano to Nals
Head out on a hiking day that takes you through apple plantations along the Waal paths until you reach a waterfall. From there, the route goes through the Tisens hills where you'll see St. Christoph church. The final stretch descends through woods with valley views opening up, bringing you down to Nals, a village surrounded by orchards and vineyards on all sides.

- Day 3
Nals to Lake Caldaro
This day focuses on a castle trail where you'll walk from one fortress to another, taking in the historic structures along the way. Later in the afternoon, you get to see a real curiosity: holes in ice where icicles form even in summer. The route passes St. George's tower and winds through vineyards before finishing at Lake Caldaro.

- Day 4
Caldaro to Coredo
Catch the train to Mendelpass in the morning where you'll get views across the region. The walk across the plateau heads toward Nonstal at the language and provincial border. After that, you'll hike through canyons and small villages to reach the pilgrimage site of Saint Romedio, passing two alpine lakes that are bright and clear before reaching Coredo.

Coredo to Molveno
A short transfer gets you to the Val di Non landscape. You'll hike through quiet forests to the panoramic square at San Tommaso church, then continue through Priori nature park and across a karst lake wetland. The trail ends at Andalo and continues to Molveno, which sits at the base of the Brenta Dolomites next to a turquoise alpine lake.

Molveno
Experience the alpine environment of the Brenta peaks. Take the cable car up into the Pradel mountain area and pick one of the hiking routes there. Stop at a mountain hut for a typical Italian snack with peaks visible all around. Then you'll descend down to Lago Nembia, which has crystal-clear water.

Molveno to Lake Garda
Your final hiking day takes you through meadows in the Lomason valley. Climb to Rifugio Monte San Pietro for views of Lake Garda below. Walk through winding streets and archways past stone walls to reach the castle of Tenno. The last part has you hiking through olive groves and Mediterranean cypress trees until you reach Lake Garda.
