Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Halong Bay
Your guide picks you up from your Hanoi hotel early in the morning and drives you to Tuan Chau Harbor, with a 20-minute stop about halfway through. Once you arrive, you'll board the Sunlight Legend cruise and check into your cabin. Lunch happens while you cruise past Halong Bay's dramatic rock formations. After that, you head to Sung Sot Cave to walk through the chambers, then swim at Titop Island. Later, catch the sunset from the sundeck before joining a cooking class where you'll make spring rolls from scratch. Dinner follows, and the evening wraps up with fishing and karaoke if you're interested.

- Day 2
Halong Bay
You'll get up early to enjoy the fresh morning air before breakfast. After eating, you transfer to a day cruise boat to see more of Halong Bay. Your first stop is Ho Dong Tien Cave, also called Fairy Lake Cave, where you can see impressive stalagmites and stalactites. From there, you go kayaking in the Trinh Nu cave area. Lunch happens on the day cruise boat, and in the afternoon you choose between visiting Me Cung Cave or checking out the Pearl Farm. Later you head back to your cruise ship to spend the second night on board.

- Day 3
Halong Bay to Hanoi
Rise early to catch the fresh morning before breakfast. Your cruise heads to Bo Hon Island where you'll explore Luon Cave either by bamboo boat or kayak, depending on your preference. After checking out of your cabin, you'll have a final cruise across Halong Bay with lunch included. By around noon you're back at Tuan Chau Harbor, where you say goodbye to the crew and board the bus for the drive back to Hanoi. You'll arrive at your hotel by about 4 PM.
