Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca
Your local representative will meet you at Casablanca airport and take you to your hotel. The welcome meeting isn't until 5 pm, so you've got the afternoon free. If your flight gets in early, there's plenty to see around the city like the art deco buildings, Hassan II Mosque, or the old medina. Grabbing mint tea at a local café is a nice way to start adjusting to Morocco.

Casablanca to Fes
After breakfast, you'll go on a guided tour of the Hassan II Mosque. Then it's time to travel to Fes, which sits at the heart of Morocco's spiritual and cultural scene. Once you arrive, you'll walk through Fes el Bali, the old medieval center that's genuinely one of the most intricate places around. Your afternoon is yours to do what you want, whether that's by the pool or wandering more on your own.

- Day 3
Fes
Spend the full day in Fes's Old City navigating the narrow streets and alleys where donkeys pass by carrying goods. The souk has different sections dedicated to specific goods, and you'll come across historic khans, madrasas, and the famous dye-pits. You can see fruit and herb stalls, visit Medersa el-Attarine, and check out the local tanneries. By late afternoon you'll head back to your hotel to relax away from the medina commotion.

Fes to Midelt
You'll leave the city in a private minibus and head through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through valleys with pine forests and rocky terrain. There's a chance to spot nomadic shepherds or Barbary apes along the way. After arriving in Midelt, a market town surrounded by farms and orchards, you'll walk through a Berber village to see how locals farm the land. A home-cooked lunch is included, and afterward you can relax or swim at the hotel pool.

Landmarks/POIs Middle Atlas Mountains - Day 5
Midelt to Merzouga
Your private minivan heads toward the Sahara, passing kasbahs and palmeries along the way. You'll go through towns like Erfoud and Rissani where the landscape changes from barren mountains to lush valleys. Once at Merzouga village, you'll get on a camel for a one-hour ride into the desert as the sun sets. That night you'll sleep under the stars at a luxury desert camp where locals prepare a hearty meal.

Merzouga to Todra Gorge
After leaving the desert, you'll drive to Todra Gorge and stop at a fossil factory to learn about the region. Then continue into Todra Valley, which sits along the Atlas Mountain foothills and has mud-brick villages built into the hillsides. The green valleys and rock formations carved by wind make it a striking landscape, and you'll be staying here for two nights.

- Day 7
Todra Gorge
Following breakfast, you have time to explore Todra Valley at your own pace. A guided hike through the gorge and over a mountain pass is really worth doing, a 10 km loop that takes around 4 hours and requires basic fitness level. You'll pass through villages, meet locals, possibly share mint tea, and see mountain views with the Rose Valley in the distance. A local family will have lunch ready for you. The afternoon is free to hike more or use the hotel pool.

Todra Gorge to Ait Benhaddou
You'll head south toward Ait Benhaddou, passing old kasbah ruins, military posts, mountains, and palm valleys. The drive goes through Ouarzazate, famous as a filming location for Lawrence of Arabia and The Mummy. Lunch happens at a local NGO restaurant run by the all-women Tawesna Association. Then you'll join a hands-on cooking class to learn how to prepare Moroccan pancakes and other dishes. The day wraps up with exploring the UNESCO World Heritage kasbah and eating couscous and tagine for dinner.

- Day 9
Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech
Early in the morning you'll drive to Marrakech, where the city hits all your senses with spice market aromas, bright colors, musician sounds, carpets, food, and perfumed gardens. The afternoon gives you time to rest. Later on, head to Djemaa el-Fna square, one of the world's biggest public spaces. At night it becomes buzzing with henna-painters, performers, storytellers, and street food vendors selling Moroccan pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. End the night with tea on a rooftop overlooking the square.

Marrakech
Your trip wraps up with no planned activities after breakfast. If you want to stay longer, you can book an extra night to see more of Marrakech. There's an optional Urban Adventures tour called 'A Taste of Marrakech: Inside the Medina' where you can learn about spices, have dinner with a local guide, and find the best hidden food souks in the city.
