Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
Your airport representative will meet you and drive you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After you get settled, the rest of the day is yours to relax or walk around the city at your own pace.
- Day 2
Kathmandu
Following breakfast, you'll head out on a guided tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO sites. You'll see Boudhanath stupa and the Monkey Temple at Swayambhunath, then visit Pashupatinath Temple sitting along the Bagmati River. Patan Durbar Square rounds out the day before you return to your Kathmandu hotel for the night.

Kathmandu to Chisapani
Leaving around 8 am, your private vehicle takes you to Shivapuri National Park. From Sundarijal, you'll start hiking toward Chisapani through the park, which is home to varied wildlife and vegetation. When the weather cooperates, you'll get views of Himalayan peaks including the Annapurna range. The trail passes through the Tamang village of Mulkharka before reaching Chisapani where you'll stay overnight.

Chisapani to Nagarkot
Rise early to catch sunrise from the Chisapani viewpoint looking out at the Himalayan range. After that, you'll hike a straightforward trail to Nagarkot over about 6 hours. Along the way, Langtang, Ganesh, Manaslu, and Annapurna peaks come into view. You'll spend the night in Nagarkot.

Nagarkot to Dhulikhel
After breakfast, the hike to Dhulikhel takes around 4 to 5 hours. This ancient Newari settlement has narrow medieval streets packed with architecture from centuries past. The town's layout follows old Hindu planning with temples and squares positioned for balance and harmony. Mountain views here include Ganesh Himal, the Jugal range, Langtang Lirung, and eastern peaks like Mt. Lhotse and Numbur. You'll stay in Dhulikhel for the night.

Dhulikhel to Namobuddha
Breakfast done, you'll hike toward Namo Buddha, a significant Buddhist pilgrimage location southeast of Kathmandu near Banepa and Panauti. The trek runs 4 to 5 hours through small villages on higher ground, and the atmosphere stays peaceful throughout. You'll pass multiple Buddhist stupas with prayer flags fluttering in the wind before arriving at Namobuddha to stay overnight.
