Itinerary
- Day 1
Leh
You'll land at Leh airport where an UncleSam Holidays representative will meet you for the transfer to your hotel. Once you've settled in and refreshed, there's a sightseeing tour visiting Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa on the agenda. After that, you'll have free time to walk around the local market and get a feel for the place before heading back to your hotel for the evening.

Sham Valley
After breakfast you'll check out and drive toward Alchi, stopping at the Hall of Fame museum, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Confluence Point where the River Indus and River Zanskar meet. From there you'll visit Spituk Monastery and Likir monastery to see the Maitreya Buddha statue. The drive continues into Sham Valley where you'll check into your hotel. After refreshing, you'll head out to Uleytokpo and Tingmosgang via Rizong Monastery, then have the rest of the day free.

Leh
Following breakfast, you'll check out and drive to Lamayuru to explore the distinctive lunar landscape surrounding the village and visit Lamayuru monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in central Ladakh. The return drive brings you back to Leh where you'll check into your hotel for the night.

Nubra Valley
After breakfast you'll head toward Nubra Valley, crossing Khardung La, which sits at 18,380 feet and is the world's highest motorable pass. Once you arrive at your camp and freshen up, you'll explore Hunder Villages and visit Diskit Monastery. Later you'll take a double-humped camel safari across the Sand Dunes between India and Tibet. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and rest.

Leh
This morning before breakfast you'll visit Diskit Monastery to attend morning prayers with the monks. You'll head back to camp for breakfast and can spend time on leisure activities throughout the day. By early afternoon you'll check out and drive back to Leh, crossing Khardung La pass again. Once you reach your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to unwind.

Pangong
After breakfast you'll drive toward Pangong, crossing Changla Pass which sits at 17,500 feet. There are brief stops at Durbuk and Tangtse village in the Changthang region along the way. At your camp near Pangong, after you've refreshed, you'll visit the highest saltwater lake in the world, which straddles the India-China border. You can spend quality time at the lake's banks before having the rest of the day free.

Leh
You'll have breakfast at camp, then check out and drive back to Leh with a stop at Stok to visit the village and Royal Stok Museum. By the time you check into your hotel, the remainder of the day is completely free for your own activities.

Leh Departure
