- Day 2Rio de JaneiroToday you have a full guided tour of Rio with a local guide. You'll travel by coach and walk through the city to see Christ the Redeemer atop Mount Corcovado, the colorful Selaron staircase in Lapa, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and Maracanã Stadium. By evening you're back at the hotel with free time. - Meals

There's also an optional dinner and tango show at a local bar if you're interested. - Meals

Alternatively, you can take an optional day trip to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay to see its historic center and climb the 19th-century lighthouse. Tonight the group has a celebratory dinner at a local restaurant. - Meals
