Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll land at Tribhuwan International Airport where a Nepal Airport Representative will be waiting for you. From there, a private vehicle takes you to your hotel in Kathmandu, so you can settle in and start getting oriented to the city.

Kathmandu to Syabru Besi
The trek begins with a descent down to Syabru Besi via Sherpa Gaon. You'll walk through Sherpa and Tamang villages with panoramic views of mountains and green hills surrounding you. The first part of the trail gradually drops in elevation, then it gets steeper as you make your way down to Syabru Besi.

Landmarks Sherpa Gaon Syabru Besi - Day 3
Syabru Besi to Gatlang
This is a 6-hour trekking day that takes you via Bahun Danda Pass, zigzagging west and descending into the Tamang settlement of Gatlang. The village sits as a cornerstone location on the Tamang Heritage Trail and has distinctive local customs and craftsmanship. Just above Gatlang you'll find Parvati Kund, a sacred pond and temple that brings in thousands of pilgrims during Janai Purnima.

Gatlang to Somdang
A 6-hour trek takes you ascending through pine and rhododendron forest to Yuri Kharka where you'll break for lunch. After that, you continue on to Khurphu Bhanjyang before descending down to the Somdang River, which marks the border between Raceway and Dhading districts.

Landmarks Yuri Kharka Khurphu Bhanjyang Somdang River - Day 5
Somdang to Pangsang Kharka
You'll trek to Pangsang Kharka, a viewpoint that sits southwest of Somdang village and offers broad panoramic views across the surrounding terrain. To the north are the soaring peaks of Manaslu and the Ganesh Himal Range. The large meadow has a giant entry gateway and serves as an excellent camping spot. The region has an abundance of herbal plants growing throughout.

Tipling Rest Day
This is a rest day in Tipling, which gives you time to recover and let your body acclimatize to the altitude and physical demands of the trek so far.

Landmarks Tipling - Day 7
Tipling to Shertung and Chalish
You'll trek down to cross the Adha Khola using a box bridge, then climb up to the sister villages of Shertung and Chalish. Both villages overlook a fertile river valley filled with abundant fields. Shertung has a mainly Tamang population, and the name translates to 'place of gold'.

Chalish to Darkha Gaon
After breakfast, you trek the full distance to Borand and down to Listen Khola, a walk that takes about 3.5 hours. From there, you continue trekking to Percho for lunch, then head on to Darkha Gaon. Along the way you'll cross suspension bridges with nice views of Ankhu Khola below.

Darkha Gaon to Dhading Besi
After breakfast, you trek downhill to Darkha Phedi, which takes about 45 minutes. Then you'll board a sharing local jeep with other travelers heading to Dhading Besi. That journey takes approximately 3-4 hours and follows rough and winding zigzag roads.

Final Departure
It's your final departure day. You'll take a bus transfer from Dhading Besi back to Kathmandu, bringing your trek to a close and heading back to the city.
