Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

Your hotel pickup happens at 9:00 am, and from there you'll head into Kathmandu to see the main sights. Kathmandu Durbar Square gives you a sense of the city's historical heart with its old palaces and temples clustered together. After that, you're off to the Monkey Temple, which sits on a hill and offers views across the valley, though you should know the monkeys there can be mischievous. Then comes Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in the region, where you'll see activity along the river. Your final stop is Boudhanath Stupa, a large white dome that's central to Buddhist life in the city. The day wraps up with a hotel drop-off around 4:30 pm, so you'll have time to grab dinner and rest.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu

Another 9:00 am pickup takes you to three different durbar squares in the Kathmandu Valley. First up is Patan Durbar Square, where you can walk around the old royal palace and see intricate carved windows and courtyards. From there you'll travel to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which feels less crowded than Kathmandu's version and has a nice mix of temples and traditional architecture. The last stop is Changu Narayan Temple, perched on a hilltop with older carved details and local history. It's a full day of temple and palace hopping, so you'll need comfortable walking shoes. Hotel drop-off happens by around 4:30 pm, leaving your evening free.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on the Annapurna tour with Prime Himalayas Tours, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breathtaking landscapes and challenging trails were made all the more enjoyable by our incredible tour guides. From the moment we began our journey, the guides were nothing short of amazing. They were gracious, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that every member of our group was comfortable and well taken care of. Their deep knowledge of the region, coupled with their passion for sharing it with us, made for a truly enriching experience. Each day, our guides were there to provide us with fascinating insights. They were always ready with a helping hand on the more challenging sections of the trail and were quick to offer encouragement and support when needed. Their warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like we were part of a family. In addition to their professional expertise, our guides were also incredibly thoughtful and attentive to our needs. Whether it was making sure we were well-fed with delicious local cuisine or arranging for comfortable accommodations, they handled everything with grace and efficiency. I cannot recommend Prime Himalayas Tours enough for anyone considering an adventure in the Annapurna region. The outstanding service and exceptional guides made this tour an experience of a lifetime. If you’re looking for a company that truly cares about its clients and provides top-notch service, look no further than Prime Himalayas Tours.
