You'll land on Java and get settled at your hotel, which gives you time to rest and prepare for the Mt. Ijen hike happening tomorrow. This is mainly a travel day, so take it easy, have dinner, and get a good night's sleep before the early start.

Head out early to see the electric blue fire flowing down Mt. Ijen during the night hours, then stay to catch the sunrise from the volcano's summit. After that, you'll see the crater lake, which happens to be the largest acidic one in the world. Later, stop by Osing Village where you can learn about local Banyuwangi culture and interact with residents.

We had an amazing tour with ForeverVacation! Our guide Peter was awesome. Super fun and knowledgeable. The elephants were unreal. It was really a once in a lifetime experience. We got to wash and bathe with the elephants among many other memorable moments. Highly recommend!

All was well organized, my driver/guide Aprio went the extra mile and the time was sufficient at each attraction. Just the hotel Bromo should be upgraded may be, hotel Ijen was amazing. I had a great time although it was a pretty extense excursion. Forever Vacation was always reachable with quick answers. Be aware to put propper walking shoes for Ijen, just trainers are not suffcient. You should be also in agood health condition!!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 23rd, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 23rd, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with ForeverVacation. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 7 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
