Our adventure began on a beautiful day, but shortly after the tour started, heavy rain set in. Despite the downpour, we enjoyed every moment, thanks to our fantastic guide, Chandana. The rain persisted for the first three days, leaving us thoroughly soaked, but the stunning scenery and unique charm of each place we visited made it all worthwhile. Chandana’s kindness and expertise greatly enhanced our experience, helping us find joy even in the rainiest moments. Asked on December 2nd, 2024Just confirming that as a solo traveller i get a private room for the cost of the tour? Also what are the extras that will have to be paid for along the tour such as entrance fees, safaries, whale watching etc. ( eg budget for an extra $500 USD of costs? ) If departing on May 6th can I still do whale watching or would I have to join the April 20th tour?

Based on previous tours, budgeting around $500 USD should comfortably cover these extras, but this depends on your personal preferences and activity choices. Whale Watching Availability in May: Whale watching in Sri Lanka typically ends by late April due to changing weather and sea conditions. To include whale watching in your itinerary, we recommend joining the April 20th tour instead of the May 6th departure.
