- Day 1
Arrival in Bangkok
Your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel. This is arrival day, so after you get settled in, you can rest up and get ready for everything starting tomorrow.

Bangkok Temples and Grand Palace
After breakfast, you'll head out to see Bangkok's major temples. First stop is Wat Traimit with its massive solid gold Buddhist statue, then you move on to Wat Arun. Next comes Wat Po, where you'll see the 46-meter-long gold plated Reclining Buddha. In the afternoon, the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew round out your temple tour, and this is one of Thailand's three most important national treasures.

Ayutthaya and Flight to Chiang Rai
You'll travel to Ayutthaya, the former Siamese capital, and start at Bang Pa-In Royal Palace with its mix of different architectural styles throughout the grounds. After that, you check out Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. Lunch happens on a boat cruising back along the Chao Phraya River to Bangkok. Later that evening, you fly to Chiang Rai.

- Day 4
Chiang Rai Mountain Village, Temples, and Border Market
Start your morning hiking up to Mae Salong, a tea-growing village in the hills. Then you'll visit Wat Phra Sing, which is the most important temple in Chiang Rai. After that, head to Mae Sai Border Market where you can browse items from Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and China all in one place. End your day at the Golden Triangle.

Thaton Boat Journey and Chiang Mai
You'll take a scenic boat trip toward Thaton, which takes about 2 hours. Along the way, there are stops at a Karen Hill Tribe Village and a Long Neck Tribe community. Lunch is at Maekok River Village, and then you visit Thaton Temple. After that, you continue on to Chiang Mai for the rest of the day.

At Elephant Nature Park, you get to see elephants up close on a group tour. You'll watch them from nearby and see them bathing in the river. It's a chance to observe these animals in a more natural setting than typical tourist attractions.

Chiang Mai to Phuket

Free Day in Phuket
This day is completely open for you to do what you want in Phuket. Swim in the sea, try snorkeling or scuba diving, sunbathe on the sand, grab fresh seafood, or just walk the beach. It's your choice how to spend the time.

Free Day in Phuket
You've got another full free day in Phuket. Phang Nga Bay is highly recommended if you're looking for something relaxing, and it's where they filmed the James Bond movie Tomorrow Never Dies. Use this time to make memories before the tour winds down.
