Itinerary
- Day 1
Fes to Merzouga
You'll leave Fes this morning and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, making stops in Ifrane and Azrou where you can see cedar forests and the Barbary macaques that live there. After grabbing lunch in Midelt, the route crosses the Tizi N Talghomt pass with some great views down into the Ziz Gorges and across the Ziz Valley. From there you'll continue on to Erfoud and then head toward Erg Chebbi Dunes near Merzouga. Later in the afternoon you'll take a camel trek that lasts about 1.5 hours as the sun starts setting, and then head to your desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

- Day 2
Merzouga to Todra Gorges
You'll wake up early to catch the sunrise from the top of a sand dune, then come back for breakfast. After that you'll take another camel ride back to the hotel so you can shower and clean up. The drive to Tineghir goes through Erfoud and Tinejdad with lunch along the way. Once you arrive, you'll spend the afternoon walking through Todra Gorges and taking in the canyon landscape. Later you'll drive to either Boumalne du Dades or Kalaa M'gouna depending on the itinerary, with a stop for panoramic views of Dades Valley before dinner and overnight.

- Day 3
Todra Gorges to Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel you'll travel to Ouarzazate, passing through Skoura and stopping for a panoramic view at Kasbah Taourirt. Next you'll visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and have lunch at a local restaurant right in the village. In the afternoon, you'll drive to Marrakech, crossing over the High Atlas Mountains by way of the Tizi N'tichka pass. Your final stop is the drop-off at your riad in Marrakech.
