Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll land in Kathmandu and connect with your Sherpa Expedition & Trekking representative who handles your transfer to the hotel in Thamel. Once you're settled in, there's a briefing session covering what to expect on the trek ahead, plus time to chat with your guide about any concerns or questions you have.

Kathmandu to Syange
The drive from Kathmandu takes about 5 to 6 hours covering roughly 190 kilometers to Besisahar, then you'll switch to a shared 4WD jeep heading to Syange. Along the route, you'll get views of Mt. Annapurna II, Mt. Manaslu, and Mt. Lamjung rising up around you.

Syange to Dharapani
Today's trek winds through a scenic gorge with waterfalls and snow-capped mountains in view. The path passes Jagat Village and Chamje Village, crosses a bridge with a steep climb, then reaches Tal village next to the Marsyangdi River before finishing at Dharapani Village for the night.

Dharapani to Chame
Trekking at higher elevations through forests, you'll reach the Tibetan village of Bagarchhap with its distinctive architecture. From there, it's through apple-farming areas and pine forests, passing Manang and Koto villages while following the Marsyangdi River upstream to Chame, which serves as the district headquarters for Manang.

Chame to Pisang
Starting from Chame, you'll trek through Telekhu Village with views of Annapurna and Pisang peaks opening up. After crossing a suspension bridge to the south bank of the Marsyangdi River, the route goes through pine forests as you climb into the upper Manang valley to reach Pisang.

Pisang to Manang
The trek from Pisang to Braga takes you through a distinctive Tibetan village where houses stack one on top of another. You'll visit Braga Gompa, the largest monastery in the Manang region, then continue to Manang, a popular hub where trekkers typically spend time adjusting to the altitude.

- Day 7
Acclimatization
You'll spend this day at Manang doing acclimatization activities. Climbing Mt. Khangsar gives you views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Tilicho, the Grand Barrier ridge, Chulu West, and Chulu East. Staying active while resting at altitude helps your body adjust.

Manang to Siri Kharka
Trekking for around 4 to 5 hours, you'll reach Kangsar Village, then push uphill to Siri Kharka. It's physically demanding terrain with nice views of Gungang Himal and Mt. Chulu, but the footing requires care to avoid slips and avalanche hazards on the trail.

Siri Kharka to Shree Kharka
An early wake around 4:30 am gets you on the trail to Tilicho Lake. After reaching the lake, you'll head back to Tilicho Base Camp for lunch, then trek onward to Shree Kharka where you'll settle in for the night.

Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka
Descending from Shree Kharka toward Khangsar Village, the route passes Tare Gumba monastery along the way. Then it's through the Thorong Khola Valley, going past the abandoned village of Old Khangsar before arriving at Yak Kharka.

Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi/High Camp
You'll trek while climbing gradually and continuing to acclimatize to higher altitude. Following the east bank of the Jarang Khola river with steep bluffs around you, the destination is Thorong Phedi. There's an option to trek one more hour to High Camp at 4800 meters if you're feeling strong. Watch for blue sheep, snow leopards, and Lammergeyer bearded vultures along the way.

Thorong Phedi/High Camp to Muktinath
This is the most physically demanding day, lasting around 8 to 9 hours at high altitude with potential strong winds. You'll likely encounter sheep, yaks, and merchants on the trail. Reaching Thorong La Pass brings views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Khatungkang peak, then it's a steep 1600-meter descent that eventually becomes less steep and easier before arriving at Muktinath.

- Day 13
Muktinath to Jomsom
From Muktinath, the trek goes through lush mountain meadows, fruit trees, and streams, passing through Kagbeni before reaching Jomsom in the Kali Gandaki Valley. Kagbeni is known for its fruit farms, and Jomsom has a reputation for its apple cider production.

Jomsom to Pokhara
A short 30-minute flight from Jomsom airport brings you to Pokhara with Himalayan views from above. After settling in, the evening is yours to spend at the lakeside watching sunset, or visiting places like World Peace Pagoda, Bindabasini Temple, Matepani Buddhist Monastery, International Mountain Museum, or Devi's Falls.

Pokhara to Kathmandu
The drive back to Kathmandu takes 6 to 7 hours from Pokhara, giving you time to reflect on the trek through the Annapurna Conservation Area. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you'll be taken to your hotel in Thamel for last-minute shopping or to rest after completing the trek.
