Itinerary

Kathmandu Arrival
You'll touch down at Kathmandu airport where staff greet you with a traditional welcome. From there, a transfer takes you to your hotel so you can settle in and rest after traveling.

After breakfast, you head out on a guided tour hitting Kathmandu's main religious sites. The itinerary includes Bouddhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple, Kapan Monastery, and Namoboudha. You'll return to your hotel later in the day.

Kathmandu to Lumbini
Following an early breakfast, you drive to Lumbini, a journey that takes roughly 5 to 6 hours. You check into your hotel in Lumbini and spend the evening there.

A guided tour takes you around Lumbini to see the Mayadevi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, Lumbini Museum, the Birth Place of Lord Gautam Buddha, China Temple, and Myanmar Golden Temple. By evening you're back at your hotel.

You drive back toward Kathmandu, which takes several hours. Once you arrive, there's time to browse for last-minute shopping before heading to your hotel for the night.
