Itinerary
- Day 1
Delhi
You'll arrive at Delhi airport and get transferred to your hotel. After you settle in, the day involves checking out several major sites around the city. Head to Jama Masjid and walk through the chaotic energy of Chandni Chowk, then continue to Rajghat where Gandhi was cremated. From there, you can see the President House and India Gate, followed by Parliament House if time allows. Qutub Minar is next on the list, then Humayun's Tomb with its beautiful gardens. If you still have energy, Lotus Temple offers a peaceful spot to wrap up the sightseeing. By evening, you'll drive to Agra via the Yamuna Express Highway (around 3-4 hours) and check into your hotel there.

Agra to Jaipur
Get up early around 5 AM because the plan is to catch the Taj Mahal at sunrise, which is really worth the early start. After that first look, you'll head back for breakfast and rest a bit. Then you'll visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah, sometimes called the Baby Taj because of its similar architecture but smaller scale. Agra Fort comes next, where you can walk the grounds and see the river views. Spend some time wandering through Agra's local market to grab souvenirs or try street food. Later in the afternoon, drive to Jaipur (about 4 hours) and get settled at your hotel for the night.

Jantar Mantar is right nearby and features these unusual astronomical instruments that are interesting to walk around. Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, is the pink five-story structure that's iconic to Jaipur. After lunch, you'll head to Amer Fort and get an elephant ride up to the entrance (this is the main activity here). Spend the afternoon exploring the fort's palaces and courtyards.
