Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Marrakech
Your group leader picks you up at Marrakech airport and takes you to the hotel. Once you've settled in, there's a welcome meeting to connect with everyone. From there, you'll walk through Marrakech's neighborhoods to see the gardens, palaces, and major mosques. Hassan II Mosque is on the agenda, one of Africa's largest structures. Dinner happens later in the evening before you rest for the night.

Rabat to Chefchaouen
The drive to Rabat starts your day, where you'll check out the Royal Gates and Challa's green gardens. The Oudaya Kasbah is next, and climbing to its roof gives you views over the city and the Abi-Regrag river. After that, you'll head through rolling hills toward Chefchaouen, known for its blue and white buildings and Spanish-influenced design. Dinner at Tissemlal Restaurant is available if you want it.

Moulay Idriss and Volubilis to Fes
Early on, you'll drive to Moulay Idriss before moving to Volubilis for the main part of the day. This ancient Roman city has arches, mosaics, and basilicas scattered throughout, and you'll walk along Decumanus Maximus to see them. There's time to visit the Moulay Idriss tomb and try local nougat candies. By evening, you'll drive to Fes for the night.

Fes
Fes is your focus today, and there's a lot to cover. Start with the royal palace, then move through the souks to shop around. Medina at Fes El Bali shows you the medieval side of the city. Al Karaouine Mosque, the university, and Merdersa Koranic school teach you about Islamic history. Later you'll see Jnan Sbil Gardens outside the medina wall, the Chouara Tannery, and Borj Nord for military history.

Fes to Sahara Desert (Erg Chebbi)
Today takes you through mountain and desert landscapes. You'll drive through Fes and Ifran, breaking for lunch in Midelt, a Berber village. The Atlas Mountains come next, then you reach the palm oases and head toward Erg Chebbi's red sand dunes. An hour of camel riding gives you a feel for the desert, and the night is spent camping under stars with local Berbers, traditional dinner, bonfire, and music.

Sahara Desert to Ouarzazate
Errisani and the Silent Town start your morning, followed by shopping for leather and goatskin at the souk. Todgha Gorges are coming up next, where you can hike toward the canyon peaks. Later you'll travel along the road of the thousand Kasbahs, see Dades Valley and Rose Valley, and arrive in Ouarzazate, a plateau city with the largest Berber community.

Ouarzazate to Marrakech
Ouarzazate, nicknamed the Hollywood of Africa, is first on the list. Ait Benhaddou, the 11th-century fortified city used for film locations, is a major stop with views of Kasbahs and the Ounila River. If time allows, you might fit in trips to Skoura, the Cinema Museum, or Studios before driving back to Marrakech for the evening.

Marrakech
You'll explore the Red City at the base of the snowy Atlas Mountains with a guided tour. The old Medina is one part, and Gueliz, the modern section, shows a different side. Shopping happens at traditional souks, and Djemaa el Fna square lets you see storytellers, musicians, snake charmers, and dancers. Koutoubia Mosque displays impressive architecture, and you'll wander through narrow streets to find the Seven Saints.

Departure from Marrakech
After breakfast at your Casablanca hotel, you'll check out in the afternoon and take a final tour of the city. Your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight home. This is the time to say goodbye to your guide and fellow travelers, and you might want to share your photos from the trip.
