Itinerary
- Day 1
Pokhara to Australian Camp
After breakfast, you'll get picked up from your hotel in Pokhara for a 40-minute drive to Kande (1565m), which sits on a hillside overlooking Fewa Lake. On clear days, you can see the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges plus Fishtail mountain from up there. From Kande, you'll hike for about 2 hours to Australian Camp (2055m), walking through local villages and past rice terraces along the way. Australian Camp itself is a small village that's known for its sunrise and sunset views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre.

Australian Camp to Pokhara
Starting with breakfast at Australian Camp, you'll trek down to Dhampus village (1694m) by taking a scenic jungle trail with Himalayan views in the background. Dhampus goes by the name 'land of the Gurkhas' and has traditional Gurung architecture and lifestyle, so you'll get a sense of how local people live and see what their houses look like. After that, you'll descend stone steps to Phedi and then get driven back to your hotel in Pokhara.
