Itinerary
- Day 1
Bangkok Airport to Bangkok
You'll arrive in Bangkok and head to your hotel to settle in. After that, you'll see the Grand Palace and Wat Pho to get a sense of the city's heritage. Later in the evening, you'll drive through the lit-up old quarters before grabbing traditional Thai dinner at places like Krua Apsorn and Lung Pha. After eating, take a walk through Pak Klong Talad fresh market to see what's there.

- Day 2
Bangkok to Samut Songkhram and return to Bangkok
Head south to Samut Songkhram Province for a more rural Thai experience. You'll see the train market where vendors pack up their stalls before the 08:30 am train comes through. After that, hop on a canal boat to reach a coastal village where you can try making traditional coconut desserts and join a cooking workshop. Back in Bangkok by evening, you'll check out Bangrak's food scene with local tastings and street food for dinner.

Bangkok to Ayutthaya
Check out and drive north to Ayutthaya to see historical temples and sites. Take a traditional tuk tuk ride around town, then visit Wat Tuk and other local temples. Stop by a blacksmith workshop to watch craftspeople make swords and knives by hand. Dinner happens at a riverside restaurant that does seafood well, and afterward you'll wander through the night market west of Bang Lan Road.

Ayutthaya to Khao Yai

Travel toward Nakhon Ratchasima on route 2, stopping by Phi Mai temples (an 11th-century Khmer site) for lunch with local Pad Mii Korat. Continue to Khon Kaen for an Issan cooking class in a garden setting where you'll learn northeastern Thai techniques and flavors. By sunset, head to Khon Kaen lake and the One Pillar Pagoda. Finish with fusion cuisine dinner.

Phitsanulok to Sukhothai
Stop at a community near Si Satchanalai Historical Park to meet rescued elephants and hear their stories. The same community makes handcrafted wood and silk items. From there, continue to Sukhothai and check into your hotel next to Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Sukhothai to Saraphi (Chiang Mai)

Walk around the Thai countryside, seeing rice fields, villages, rivers, and small temples. Visit the old Lamphun road with orange-ribboned trees, then enjoy a sunset barbeque with northern Thai food.
