Trip date: September 2025 - Michael· March 5th, 2024We booked our Kilimanjaro hike & 6 days safari with Tanzania Horizon Safaris and everything worked perfectly as planned..Contact was great from first emails, replied by Elizabeth. We received a detailed gear list for both the hike + safari and hikes via Machame Route. our guides Jonas and Elisha were fantastic and the selected lodges were perfectly located. Our safari guide Sabas took very good care of us and the jeep was in very good condition. Lodges had great service, we stayed at Lindrin Lodge, Burunge Tented Lodge, Kati Kati Serengeti and Kuhama Camp near Ngorongoro Crater. I only regret that we didn't stay longer! - Samer· June 3rd, 2021Despite the Covid-19 situation we decided to go climbing Kilimanjaro in May 2021. This trip was planned for a long time, and after searching we found Tanzania Horizon Safaris and we could not be happier. My team was 13 people… all friends and we came from Palestine. Some of them were first time to climb a mountain. And the good news that all of us (13) made it to the summit. We took the Machame route in 7 days, but we managed to finish the mountain in 6 days… 4 up and 2 down. The head guide Mr. Jounus was a very experienced guide and knows how to lead the team, and the crew on the mountain was amazing and helpful at all times. On top of that very easy and clear communication from beginning to the end. Tents and camping equipment were excellent, food on mountain were also excellent and large portion were provided… nobody feels hungry! Management of the company (Elizabeth) helped us a lot in Moshi town for hotel booking and PCR tests in the hospital. All trip aspects were managed perfectly… nothing at all to complain about. For me, this was my second time to summit Kilimanjaro, and I will do it again and again… and all with Tanzania Horizon Safaris. I highly recommend this company.Show moreTrip date: May 2021

Tanzania Horizon SafarisOperator•Written July 2025Our packages include airport transfer, accommodation (breakfast included) before and after the hike as well as all entrance fees and salaries for guides and the team. It also includes all meals on the mountain, tents and all the necessary equipment. Sleeping bags, clothes for hiking, everything can be rented from our office. The total cost and mountain team size depends on the number of hikers: 1 hiker = 2299 USD per person, 2-3 hikers = 2145 per person, 4-5 hikers = 2079 per person, 6-7 hikers = 2015 USD per person, 8-9 hikers = 1969 USD per person, 10-12 hikers = 1925 USD per person. As it will be a private hike for you and your friends, we are 100% flexible.
