Guangzhou to Zhangjiajie
Your flight from Guangzhou lands in Zhangjiajie, where your local guide meets you at the airport and gets you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and get a feel for the area at your own pace.

- Day 2
Zhangjiajie National Park and Tianzi Mountain
Head into Zhangjiajie National Park for about an hour to reach the super elevator, which takes you up to see the park's famous views. You'll check out Yuanjiajie peak with its dramatic rock formations that inspired the Avatar films, then move on to Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, also called 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest'. After that, walk through Shilihualang (10-Mile-Gallery) where you can catch an electric train one way and walk back for roughly 30 minutes.

- Day 3
Tianmen Mountain to Fenghuang Old Town
Drive to Tianmen Mountain and walk the Gateway of Heaven road, including the famous glass walkway. Take the Tianmen Mountain Cableway up to see Tongtian Avenue, Tianmen Cave, Tianmen Temple, and the Ghost-valley plank road. Ride down on the world's longest cableway at 7455 meters. Later, catch a train for about an hour or drive three hours to Fenghuang's charming old town built along the Tuo River. Wander through its well-preserved streets with traditional wooden houses and enjoy the evening as lights reflect beautifully off the water.

Fenghuang to Guangzhou
Spend your morning exploring Fenghuang at a relaxed pace. After lunch, travel an hour to Huaihua to catch the five-hour bullet train back to Guangzhou. When you arrive, your guide transfers you to your hotel where your tour wraps up.
