Windhoek
You'll arrive at Windhoek International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. After checking in, the rest of your day is free to settle in and rest up. There's a briefing scheduled so you'll know what to expect over the next 11 days.

Windhoek to Fish River Canyon
Following breakfast, you'll leave Windhoek and drive toward Fish River Canyon, covering roughly halfway of the distance. The landscape here is really expansive, and you'll spend the night at your midway stop with the evening free to yourself.

Landmarks Fish River Canyon - Day 3
Fish River Canyon
After breakfast, you'll continue south to Fish River Canyon's southern point, getting there by afternoon. The mountain scenery around here is quite different from what you've seen so far, and you'll have time to check out the area and swim in a natural hot spring pool. Evening is yours to unwind.

Landmarks Fish River Canyon - Day 4
Fish River Canyon to Luderitz
An early start after breakfast gets you traveling along the canyon toward the northern lookout point. You'll pass through Naukluft National Park where oryx, springbuck, and zebra roam around. Stop to see the Wild Horses of Aus, then arrive in Luderitz by late afternoon. The coastal town has character for exploring, and dinner's at a German restaurant.

Luderitz to Sossus Vlei
You're heading toward Sossus Vlei this morning after breakfast. The route takes you through Kolmanskoppe, a historical diamond village with interesting remnants. From there, you'll drive through desert and mountain scenery to a castle where you'll stay overnight. Dinner gives you time to think back on everything you've seen so far.

Sossus Vlei Area
After breakfast, you'll make your way toward Sossus Vlei through changing landscapes, keeping an eye out for wildlife along the way. Sesriem Gorge is your stop, a location with some fascinating history. You'll check in at your lodge for the evening.

Landmarks Sesriem Gorge Sossus Vlei - Day 7
Sossus Vlei
This day centers on exploring Sossus Vlei after breakfast. You'll get to Big Daddy sand dune, Dead Valley, and Sossus Vlei itself using 4x4s through the dry river beds where the scenery is just incredible. Back at the lodge by afternoon, you'll have time to relax and catch the sunset before dinner.

You'll arrive in the afternoon at this coastal town known for its historical architecture and holiday vibe. There's time to explore on your own, and dinner is at a German restaurant.

Landmarks Solitaire - Day 9
Swakopmund
An early start gets you on a catamaran in Walvis Bay harbour. You'll see Cape Fur Seals, pelicans, dolphins, and an oyster breeding farm during the cruise. The boat returns to Swakopmund by early afternoon, so you'll have more time to walk around the town and grab dinner at a popular spot.

Swakopmund
After breakfast, you'll hop into 4x4s for a coastal drive to Sandwich Harbour, then take on the dunes in Namib-Naukluft National Park. The desert here has flamingos, jackals, seals, and springbuck around, and you'll drive past the Walvis Bay salt factory. Back in Swakopmund by early afternoon for final exploring and dinner at a popular restaurant.
