Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
You'll land at Kathmandu airport where someone from Trekking Guide Team Adventure meets you holding a placard. After the drive to your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and get comfortable. Overnight in Kathmandu.
- Day 2
Kathmandu Sightseeing
This day focuses on Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You'll check out Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) for views over the city, then head to Boudhanath stupa where resident monks practice. Pashupatinath temple comes next, dedicated to Lord Shiva with its cremation grounds along the Bagmati River. Finish at Patan Durbar Square to see the beautiful art and architecture. You'll sleep in Kathmandu again.

Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding
Your alarm goes off at 5 AM for the airport transfer. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes 40 minutes and lands at 2827m altitude. After landing, you'll trek down to Dudh Koshi River via Ghat at 2550m, then connect to the main path heading toward Namche Bazaar. You'll reach your tea house in Phakding for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Lukla Dudh Koshi River Ghat Phakding - Day 4
Phakding to Namche Bazaar
You trek roughly 5 hours from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, moving through wooded areas with blue pine and rhododendron trees. The Dudh Koshi River crossing happens along the way, and you'll see Kusum Kanguru (6369m) and Thamserku (6623m). A suspension bridge takes you closer to Namche Bazaar where Everest, Ama Dablam, Tawoche, Lhotse, and Nuptse come into view. Sleep at a tea house in Namche Bazaar.

Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day
Today is a rest day in Namche Bazaar so you can acclimatize properly to the high altitude and avoid altitude sickness. The village sits in a scenic concave setting with plenty to explore. You can hike up to Everest View Hotel for views of Khumbu peaks like Thamserku (6608m), Ama Dablam (6856m), and Mt Everest. Another option is wandering to Thami at 3810m overlooking the Bhote Khola River Valley. Tea house overnight.

Namche Bazaar to Lukla
You'll trek roughly 5 hours down to Lukla at 2840m altitude, which marks the end of your trekking portion. The walk back gives you time to reflect on what you've seen. Tea house overnight in Lukla.

Lukla to Kathmandu
An early morning flight gets you from Lukla back to Kathmandu, and you'll see Himalayan views during the journey. After arriving in Kathmandu, the drive takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, so you can explore Kathmandu or do some shopping. Hotel overnight.
