Itinerary
- Day 1
Cochin to Munnar
You'll arrive at Cochin airport where someone from the hotel meets you. The drive to Munnar takes you through some great Kerala scenery, with waterfalls and mountains showing up along the route and low clouds hanging over everything. After you check in, you'll have the rest of the day to settle in.

Munnar
Following breakfast, you'll check out Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, and the Old Munnar Town with its local market. There's also a walk through the tea estates if that interests you, or you can just take the evening to relax and do your own thing around town.

Munnar to Periyar
After breakfast and checking out, you head to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Once you're settled at your hotel, the sanctuary activities open up, which include bamboo rafting on the water, hiking along the borders, elephant safaris, and visits to Kumily and Mangaladevi Temple.

Periyar to Alleppey
You'll check out after breakfast and drive to Alleppey to start your backwater experience. Your houseboat becomes your base for lunch and dinner while you travel through the backwaters and lagoons. Later in the evening, take a walk around the local streets of Alappuzha to get a feel for the town.

Alleppey to Kovalam
Leaving the houseboat after breakfast, you drive toward Kovalam with stops along the way at Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Horse Palace, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, and Padmatheertha Kulam. Once you reach Kovalam and check into your hotel, spend the rest of the day however you'd like, whether that's relaxing or doing other activities.

Kovalam to Kanyakumari Day Trip
This is a full day trip to Kanyakumari with Padmanabhapuram Palace on the way. You'll see Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari Temple, Tri Samudra Milan where three oceans meet, Gandhi Mandapam, and Thanumalayan Temple. You'll return to Kovalam by evening.
