Lake Manyara
A vehicle picks you up from your hotel or Kilimanjaro airport for a full day of game driving through the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara National Park offers wildlife viewing with giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and hippos moving through acacia forests. The lake itself provides good photo opportunities. You'll return to camp by evening for dinner.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you'll drive toward the Serengeti across open plains. The landscape changes as you travel deeper into the park, and once there you'll see herds of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes. Lions, cheetahs, and leopards hunt across these same plains. Dinner and overnight stay happen at Nyani Campsite.

- Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Starting before sunrise, you'll head out for a game drive when wildlife is most active in the Serengeti. After returning to camp around mid-morning, you'll have brunch and then drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The crater floor sits 2,000 feet below its rim and holds an ecosystem with nearly every East African species, including Black Rhinos. You'll see the river, swamps, soda lake with flamingos, patches of forest, and grassland. The elephants here tend to be particularly large. Dinner and the night are at Simba Campsite on the crater rim.

Ngorongoro to Arusha
An early start gets you down to the crater floor for morning game driving. After the drive, you'll stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake. A shorter game drive follows before you head back up and out of the crater toward Arusha, arriving around 5 pm. From there, you can arrange drop-off in Arusha or continue to Kilimanjaro Airport.
