Vientiane
Your tour guide and transfer team will meet you at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, so settle in, rest, and get used to the local rhythm.

Vientiane
After breakfast, you'll check out Vientiane's main religious and cultural sites. Start with Wat Si Saket and its religious museum, then head to Wat Ho Phra Keo, which once housed the Emerald Buddha. From there, see the gold-covered Pha That Luang stupa and finish with the Patuxai war monument and triumphal arch.

Vientiane to Vang Vieng
The drive to Vang Vieng takes around 3 hours. On the way, stop at Houei Mor Village to learn how locals make fish products. After checking into your hotel, you'll visit Jang Cave (an old bunker from the early 19th century), cross the Song River to the Blue Lagoon to swim and relax, and optionally climb to Phoukham Cave. Later, explore the Street Night Market on your own.

- Day 4
Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang
Head out to Luang Prabang on a 5-hour drive, stopping at a street market in Phahom Valley to see local trading. Once you arrive, you'll have free time until 4:30pm, then drive to Mount Phousi for the climb up and sunset views over the Mekong River.

Luang Prabang
Explore the ancient capital's key temples: Wat Visoun, built in 1513 with early Lao architecture, and Wat Xieng Thong, one of the largest temples featuring distinctive 16th-century design and an impressive glass mosaic Tree of Life. Then take a Mekong River cruise to Pak Ou Caves, which holds thousands of Buddha statues left by pilgrims. Visit Ban Xanghai Village (known for rice wine making) and Ban Xang Khong Village (famous for silk and Saa Paper), then return to the hotel.
