- Day 1
Arrival in Casablanca
Your driver meets you at Casablanca airport with a name sign, then it's off to your 4-star hotel for check-in. If you're interested, Rick's Café is available that evening for dinner with American, French, and Moroccan options, plus weekend jazz and a screening of the classic film.

Casablanca to Rabat to Tangier
After breakfast, you'll see the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world's largest religious buildings, followed by Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes church with its stained glass. Then you head to Rabat to visit the Mohamed V Mausoleum, King's Palace, and the Oudaya Kasbah with its blue-painted streets. Later you travel north to Tangier for the night.

Tangier
You'll walk through Tangier's historic sites and learn how it became a refuge for writers, artists, and spies. The city sits where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, with the Strait of Gibraltar nearby. After touring the main attractions, you head to Tetouan for the night.

Tetouan to Chefchaouen
This morning after breakfast includes a guided tour of Tetouan exploring its history from the 3rd century BC through its Phoenician, Roman, and Moorish periods. Later you travel to Chefchaouen, the blue city, where you'll walk around freely checking out the charming streets, local handicrafts, and woven goods before settling into your Riad.

Chefchaouen to Volubilis to Meknes
You head south after breakfast toward Volubilis, the Roman archaeological site founded around 40 AD. There's the Victory Arch from 217 AD built for Emperor Caracalla, plus the House of Ephebe with its Bacchus mosaic. A guided tour covers the site before you continue to Meknes and check into a Riad.

Meknes to Fez
After breakfast, you explore Meknes, the 16th century capital built by Sultan Moulay Ismail who modeled himself on Louis XIV. You'll see the palace with its colorful stucco, bronze doors, and mosaics, plus the Bab El Mansour gateway. You walk through the triumphal arch and Place El-Hedime market before driving to Fez. Optional traditional Moroccan dinner available.

Fez
Your full guided tour of Fès starts after breakfast, walking through the medieval medina with ramparts and winding streets. You visit the Merinid Tombs, Bouanania and Attarine Medersas, and the Karaouine Mosque, one of the world's oldest universities. There's the Bab Boujeloud gate, medieval tanneries, Royal Palace, and vibrant souks selling jewelry, carpets, leather, and pottery. You'll even see the Donkey Hospital before spending the night in a Riad.

Fez to Erfoud to Sahara Desert
After breakfast, you journey through the Middle Atlas mountains passing Ifrane and small towns with views of nomadic tent communities. By evening you're at the desert hotel where you'll ride a camel out to a nomadic camp for dinner under the stars and an overnight stay in a luxury Bedouin tent.

Dades Gorges to Ouarzazate

You arrive at Ouarzazate to see the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt, then have dinner and spend the night.

Agadir to Essaouira
After breakfast, you head to the coastal city of Essaouira for a guided tour of the fishing port, the Scala fortress where Game of Thrones was filmed, and the medina with its art galleries. Lunch features grilled sardines at a local restaurant. After checking into your Riad, you'll have free time to walk the beach or explore.

Essaouira to Marrakesh
After breakfast, you travel to Marrakesh and start with the Majorelle Garden, then visit the Berber Museum before checking into your hotel. Marrakesh is divided between the modern city with luxury shops and cafés, and the historic medina surrounded by ten kilometers of walls. The city is known for palm groves, minarets, and the energy of its streets and markets.
