Ho Chi Minh City
Your driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your Ho Chi Minh City hotel. After you check in around 2 PM, the afternoon and evening are open for you to wander around this energetic city that mixes old traditions with contemporary life.

Mekong Delta
An early bus ride takes you through rice fields toward the Mekong Delta. You'll see Vinh Trang Pagoda, then cruise the Tien River and watch four islands pass by from the boat. The day includes time in villages and orchards, hand-rowed sampan rides through canals with water coconut trees, a stop at a coconut candy mill, and lunch at a local spot before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne
After breakfast you check out and take a bus to Mui Ne beach town, which is about 220 kilometers south. The coastal area is known for windsurfing and kitesurfing, plus those giant sand dunes where you can do jeep tours. Once you reach your hotel you have free time to settle in and relax by the water or around town.

Mui Ne to Nha Trang
After breakfast at the hotel you board a local bus headed to Nha Trang, a trip that runs about 6 hours. When you arrive you check into your hotel and have time to explore the coastal town and get settled.

Nha Trang to Da Nang
Breakfast at your hotel, then free time before evening. Your driver takes you to the train station for an overnight train to Da Nang. You'll sleep onboard as the train travels through the night.

Da Nang
The train pulls in early morning and your driver picks you up for the hotel and early check-in with breakfast. After resting in your room, the afternoon tour starts with Linh Ung Pagoda and its Lady Buddha statue. From there you visit Non Nuoc Village to see stone sculpture work, check out religious sites and caves, then drive to Hoi An's historic town. You'll see old houses, temples, and the well-known Japanese Bridge Pagoda before dinner featuring Hoi An specialties and the return to Da Nang.

Ba Na Hills
After breakfast you head to Ba Na Hills, sometimes called the second Da Lat in the region. A cable car system that holds 4 world records takes you up 1,400 meters to the peak. At the top you explore the Golden Bridge in the clouds, Le Jardin D'Amour flower garden, and another Linh Ung Pagoda with a 27-meter Shakyamuni statue. You'll see the French Village and temple areas, eat a buffet lunch, and try rides and games at the Fantasy Park amusement area before the cable car ride back down to Da Nang.

Da Nang to Ha Noi
Breakfast done, you head to Da Nang airport for a flight to Ha Noi. Your driver collects you when you land and brings you to your hotel for check-in from 2 PM. After resting, at 5:30 PM you join a guided street food walking tour through the Old Quarter. You'll wind through hidden alleys and stop at specialty food stalls to sample different Vietnamese street foods and drinks.

After breakfast and checkout you drive to Ha Long City, where you board a cruise ship. The crew gives you a warm greeting and you check into your cabin. While cruising past thousands of limestone islands, you enjoy a specially made lunch on deck and can take photos of the landscape. Later you hike Titop Island for views, then kayak and swim. By evening there's a sunset party on the sundeck with fresh fruit and traditional costumes, followed by a special dinner from the professional chef and evening entertainment.

The morning starts with sunrise photos and tai chi exercises with a master. Breakfast includes coffee, tea, and fruits, then you visit Surprising Cave, the most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay. Back on the cruise you'll see hundreds of islands and islets while cruising. A cooking class happens onboard, followed by a farewell lunch. Then it's time to board a bus back to Ha Noi.

Ha Noi
After breakfast you explore Ha Noi's cultural sites. The day includes Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island in West Lake, the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi from the 6th century, then the Ho Chi Minh complex to see his embalmed body and two houses from 1954-1969. Next comes the One Pillar Pagoda and Vietnam Ethnology Museum where you learn about the country's 54 ethnic groups. A lunch with 8 Vietnamese dishes, Temple of Literature (the first university from the 11th century), and Hoa Lo Prison Museum round out the afternoon and evening.
