Bangkok
You'll land at Bangkok International Airport where your guide meets you. From there, it's a transfer to the hotel for check-in and settling in for two nights. The afternoon is yours to do as you like, and if you're interested in markets, Chatuchak is one of Thailand's largest and worth checking out if you have the energy after traveling.

- Day 2
Bangkok
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head out to see Bangkok's main attractions. The Royal Grand Palace with its Siamese architecture comes first, followed by the Emerald Buddha Temple and various royal halls. By midday you'll grab lunch at a riverside restaurant, then transition into a long-tailed boat tour through Thonburi's canals where you can see temples and wooden stilt houses. Later you'll visit Wat Pho to see the Reclining Buddha, then move on to Wat Traimit and its Golden Buddha (made from 5.5 tons of solid gold). You'll return to the hotel for your second night.

Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Breakfast at the hotel starts the day before you transfer to Ratchaburi Province. A long-tail speedboat ride takes you from the pier to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market where vendors sell food, fruits, flowers, and local goods directly from their boats. You'll continue by boat to Kanchanaburi and stop at the Bridge over the River Kwai (now a World War II memorial) and the war cemetery nearby. That evening you'll check into your Kanchanaburi hotel.

Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
You'll have breakfast, check out, and drive about an hour to Erawan National Park. Plan to spend around three hours walking through the park and swimming in the seven layers of falls. After lunch at a local restaurant (on your own), it's another drive to Ayutthaya where you'll check in and have the rest of the day free. You're staying overnight there.

- Day 5
Ayutthaya to Chiang Mai
Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll explore Ayutthaya along the Chao Phraya River. The day covers ruins of several temples like Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, Wat Chai Wattanaram, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, all showing what remains of the Ayutthaya Empire (1350-1767). You'll have lunch at a local spot, then in the afternoon visit the Bang Pa-In Royal Summer Palace. After some free time at the hotel, you'll head to Ayutthaya Train Station for an overnight train to Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai
You'll arrive in Chiang Mai and head to Doi Suthep Mountain, hiking to Wat Prathat Temple at 1,000 meters elevation where you get views of the countryside below. The town itself has both old and new sections known for handicrafts and items from hill tribe people. In the afternoon you'll visit San Kampaeng and Borsang villages to see silk weaving, wood carving, silverware work, and umbrella-making workshops. You're staying overnight in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai to Samoeng Hill Tribe Villages
After breakfast, you'll transfer to the Samoeng area with a stop at a local market to grab supplies for hiking. Lunch happens in a Shan hill tribe village before the trek begins. You'll walk through jungle to a Hmong village, learning about how people live there, then continue deeper to a Karen village where you'll stay in a local homestay. Before dinner, there's time to walk around and interact with villagers.

Hill Tribe Villages to Chiang Mai
You'll eat breakfast in the morning air before saying goodbye to your hosts. A one-hour elephant ride takes you through the jungle, followed by a trek to a waterfall where you can swim. Lunch is a picnic at the waterfall spot. Afterward, the trek continues toward the riverbank where a bamboo raft carries you downriver with scenic views. You'll return by road to Chiang Mai with the evening free to explore town or relax at the hotel.

Chiang Mai to Golden Triangle Border Areas
You'll eat an early breakfast and leave Chiang Mai for a full-day tour to the Golden Triangle area. First stop is Mae Kachan Natural Hot Springs in Wieng Pa Pao District for the springs and local market. Then you'll see Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) in Chiang Rai with its distinctive white architecture. Around noon you'll reach Chiang Saen for lunch and a quick look at Wat Chedi Luang. The main event is the Golden Triangle where Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand meet. You'll visit the Opium Museum to learn the region's history, then stop in Mae Sai (Thailand's northernmost town on the Myanmar border) to see the market and meet locals. It's back to Chiang Mai by evening with time to rest.

Chiang Mai to Railay Beach
Breakfast happens at the hotel followed by free time in the morning. Later you'll meet your guide for a transfer to the airport and a domestic flight to Krabi. Upon landing, you'll head to Phuket Pier to catch a ferry to Railay Beach. Once there, the rest of the day is yours to relax. You're staying at a four-star resort on Railay Beach overnight.

Railay Beach to Phi Phi Island

Lunch (fried rice and fruits) is at the beach. You'll also visit Mosquito Island, Hin Klang, and Phaknam Bay for more snorkeling. Nui Bay and Wang Long Bay are also on the itinerary, followed by Viking Cave on Phi Phi Ley where your guide shares local stories. Pi-Leh Lagoon and Loh Samah provide a final snorkeling spot. You'll visit Maya Bay at a quieter time to relax or explore the jungle on its backside. A sunset over the Andaman Sea rounds out the day before returning to the hotel.
