- Day 1
Great Ocean Road
Your coastal journey starts with a drive along the Great Ocean Road, one of Australia's most scenic routes. You'll pass through rainforest and stop at Apollo Bay, a charming seaside village where Southern-right whales sometimes appear offshore during certain seasons. From there, head to the Twelve Apostles limestone formations rising from the ocean, then explore Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge. After arriving in Warrnambool, you'll meet your Travel Director and the group for dinner.

Great Ocean Road to Naracoorte Caves
Start the day at Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve, a dormant volcanic crater where you can see emus and koalas in their natural habitat. You'll then cross into South Australia and visit Mt. Gambier to see the striking Blue Lake. A Local Specialist joins you for wine tasting at a Coonawarra winery, where you'll sample the region's well-known Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Later, take a guided tour through Alexandra Cave at Naracoorte Caves, which is a World Heritage site.

Naracoorte to Kangaroo Island
The Fleurieu Peninsula offers a relaxed vibe, and you'll head to Victor Harbor for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, board a ferry at Cape Jervis to reach Kangaroo Island, known for its pristine beaches and wildlife. You'll check into your hotel in Kingscote, then spend the evening however you'd like, perhaps taking a walk along the waterfront to get a feel for the place.

Kangaroo Island Wildlife & Wineries
Flinders Chase National Park is your focus today, where you'll see the Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch with their dramatic coastal views. A Local Specialist leads a guided walk at Seal Bay Conservation Park to see one of Australia's important sea lion breeding colonies up close. You'll grab lunch with wine at Vivonne Bay Bistro, then visit the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery, Australia's only commercial eucalyptus oil distillery. Before heading back to your hotel, stop for craft beer tasting at Kangaroo Island Brewery.

Continue into the Barossa, Australia's top Shiraz region, for lunch at Lambert Estate set among rolling vineyards. You'll do wine or gin tasting at Maggie Beer's Pheasant Farm, and finish with a Farewell Dinner at Koomo, Adelaide's highest restaurant, serving Japanese and Asian-influenced food with city views.
